Team Rocket cheating in pokemon contests
1. TR installed a device on Dustox body to produce attacks with a beautiful rainbow. The truth was revealed when Dustox was knocked out and the box broke away from its body.
2. Meowth used a device to produce fake transform attacks (an attack Meowth is not able to learn). He faked transforming into Sunflora, Kirlia and Wailord, but his scheme was revealed when he accidentally used his claws and ripped apart the Wailord costume.
3. TR stole Anthony's ribbon case and identity to have Jessie participate in his place at the Hoenn Grand Festival, however, Officer Jenny and Ash discovered their plan before she could make it to the stadium.
4. They teamed up with Harley to sabotage May's first round performance in the Mulberry City pokemon contest, but Ash managed to foil their plans, allowing May to have a comeback and pass through the first round.
5. James disguised himself as Jesselina to participate in a pokemon contest and won. Now, in this particular case they weren't trying to cheat against anyone else and there wasn't any harm done, but pretending to be someone and participating in their place is most likely not permitted by the pokemon contest committee, but they got away with it because narratively they weren't hurting anyone, but I'd argue it is a way of cheating since Jessie wasn't actually participating and is akin to someone doing an exam in place of someone else at school. This is not a ribbon she earned, James did it for her.
