Is Alycia Debnam-Carey still with cheating boyfriend?
An emerging actress in the television scene, Alycia Debnam-Carey has gained success and fans with shows such as “The 100” and “Fear the Walking dead”. With her roles in these shows she had started to gain the celebrity spotlight and with it, an interest of her personal life. Alycia doesn’t seem to have much controversy surrounding her, keeping her life private from the public eye. However, on June 29, 2016 there was a Twitter leak of information and photos that her current boyfriend had cheated on her throughout their relationship. The images showed her boyfriend in sexual and romantic acts with other women.
Before I go any further, I would like to state that my team and I gathered our information from public posts. We have not ‘hacked’ into accounts nor did we steal images. These images were gathered over the course of months from public Twitter accounts and social media sites. Our initial interest in this came months after the event, our focus on rumor of a video. The video contained a recording by the boyfriend and Alycia arguing. There are claims that he yelled at her and called her the slur “retard” while she was crying. We’ve yet to find the video but from many users, from the original leaker to Tumblr users, state that this video is in fact real.
The boyfriend
Marcus Catsaras and Alycia Debnam-Carey have dated since high school. Both graduated from Newtown High School of Performing Arts in 2011. Alycia had started for her auditions United States shortly afterwards and Marcus started in 2014 at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. During this time we believe they kept a long-distance relationship, as evident in 2012 images posted of Alycia and Marcus together:
Per his Facebook posts he had been going between Boston and Australia between 2011 till 2014. We do not know the exact situation that Marcus had been in but we do know from photos that Marcus and Alycia kept in contact through that time from multiple Instagram posts from Alycia.
Sometime after 2014 did Marcus move to Los Angeles, California His job situation is unknown to us, but he is seemingly able to support himself in beautiful Los Angeles home.
Marcus online presence has become minimal ever since the leak, and his Instagram and Twitter account have since been placed on lockdown. He goes under the username Averagedude69, Alycia tagged many Instagram posts to him.
The leak
On June 29, 2016, a Twitter user posted the photo leaks of Marcus cheating on Alycia on the social media website. Fans broke out, coming to the defense of Alycia’s privacy and her boyfriend cheating. The images released, they were not many but featured many different women from photos stolen from Catsaras’ iCloud. The photos came in a variety of scandalous rating, from just lying in bed with one another to Marcus receiving oral sex from one of the girls.
Many images were deleted when the leaker account was frozen, only some Twitter users captured the images before they were deleted. My team members and I were not there during the time of the leak but by rumor that there was a lot more photos that were leaked. Even two videos of Alycia and Marcus together. One of those videos being the ‘famous’ video which Marcus was calling Alycia “retarded” while she cried. I and my team have not found this video yet, but after reaching out with many other Twitter and Tumblr users they all stated the video is real but didn’t download the video. We are still trying to find the video.
My team, however, over the course of months did we collect scraps of the photos from various photos. During this time, we not only find the photos but we found online evidence of a relationship between Marcus and another woman during early 2012. This was publically posted by the woman, and the photos were all highly romantic. Viewing these photos, you could see just how much Marcus loves Frida, the woman.
Other photos found, were personal photos stolen from the iCloud. Some photos were of Alycia, such as this one:
The reactions to the leak didn’t consist of Alycia at all. In fact, still as of now, does she not acknowledge the incident. Her co-stars and friends, however, voiced their concern and even stated their opinion on Twitter about the incident. Such as Maia Mitchell, who did not state the incident directly but with undertones of her tweet:
Another reaction came from one of Alycia’s former co-stars, Lindsey Morgan. Morgan became a strong defender in Alycia’s defense and denounced the action of the leaker. She was the strongest supporter of Alycia in this situation and even confronted the leaker through Twitter about his actions.
Out of these conversations between EmiliasClarke and Lindsey Morgan, information was revealed about the situation. The ‘hacker’ contacted Alycia and her friends about it, holding onto the information and waiting for the response from her on the situation. According to the ‘hacker’ he contacted Alycia’s friend Marny Kennedy, telling her about the discovery of the cheating found from the iCloud.
The relationship
Most of our knowledge of the relationship we know is from Alycia’s Instagram, who, in her earlier part of her career, posted photos of her and Marcus together. From a photo with sexual undertones:

The necklace seems to be a source of controversy and evidence of the relationship between the two. Given to Alycia by Marcus in 2014, many of her photos after that consisted of her wearing it and not taking it off. After the information leak, the necklace has seemingly become more of a symbol of upset to fans and non-fans alike. On September, 27 2016 the necklace appeared with Alycia yet again. However, this time she had started wearing it backward to avoid fan’s noticing:

With this, there is evidence that she is still with Marcus or is still in love with him. Fans didn’t dwell about it though, as there is no definite proof that there was a relationship still between each other or that they were still in contact with one another.
However, the doubts were somewhat squashed and there was more belief that the two were still dating. On October, 8 2016 JustJaredJr posted pictures of Maia Mitchell with Alycia Debnam-Carey after a dinner. The photos didn’t show much information of the dates of the women, however one photo seemed to send many people into seeing Marcus sitting in the back of the car with the others:
Not only did this seem to set people into believing Marcus and Alycia were still together but also with the appearance of the necklace again on November, 25 2016 while she was back in Australia. The photo was posted by a friend:
Alycia has kept a low profile ever since the leak, no longer posting on Twitter and Instagram. Her last Twitter interaction was in October, when she reposted one of Maia Tweets. The last Instagram photo was in September 2016. She has since not discussed the leak, only guessing that she does acknowledge the drama through tweets posted by co-stars and friends.
What Alycia’s friends and family think of the situation is unknown. Her two closest friends from Australia are still Facebook friends with Marcus. Alycia’s brother, Angus, also is still friends with him. They seemingly had not acknowledged the incident on their Facebook or any other social network. My team are still a little confused what everyone in her inner circle is thinking but we can assume they might be pushing it off or believe that it might just be a little hick-up.
The cheating
The cheating happened with a variety of women and at different points throughout since Alycia came into the United States in 2011. The photos from the leak in June 2016 do not have any timestamps and the original source had stopped giving out information from the leak. However we had identified and have evidence of two women he cheated with.
One of the women is Jo Huxtable, a former classmate of Marcus and Alycia. In Instagram photos we found that Alycia and Jo were friends, or acquaintances at least:
Huxtable has since deleted her Facebook account and evidence of her relationship is slim, however, after doing further investigating we found information that had yet to be destroyed. However, with some data evidence we found that both Marcus and Jo had been in a band together, called Sireno. They have since deleted their Facebook presence but still have their Instagram and Soundcloud up
The band was quite active in 2013, with updates to their social media and attendance to venues. Images we found with Marcus and Jo seemed to be around this time, however after investigating the photos a little deeper it looks like Marcus in the photos versus Marcus on the Instagram photos, the leaked photos look closer to Marcus’ look in 2015.
It is unknown about the exact time the cheating took place, but if it is around the time the Sireno band was most active, we know that Alycia and Marcus were still together as shown in her Instagram photos during that time. We believe that Alycia didn’t know at that time, and if she did her friends didn’t know because those friends posted on the bands Instagram page in support for their success. It is unknown what Marcus’ and Jo relationship is now, but at least we know the band seems to be on Hiatus.

The other woman was more open with her relationship with Marcus. Fride Dimmen Stokke, a woman from Norway. The evidence and timestamps of the relationship is public by her own posts on the internet, no evidence was stolen here and was collected from public posts.

The romance between Marcus and Fride is evident in these photos. These photos have them kissing, hugging, and doing activities. I can’t do much to describe them but you can see how passionate they seem:

Now that you’ve seen the photos, the evidence of the complexity of the cheating shows in the dates. From Fride’s blog posts, Marcus and Fride kept a romantic relationship. In these photos are the dated times of March 30, May 5, and May 20 in 2012:
However, from Alycia’s Instagram post, Alycia and Marcus went on a New York adventure on May 29, 2012:

In 2013 Alycia and Marcus were back together in full force. In her photos uploaded to Instagram, they spent a lot of time together:
There is supposedly a third woman, we have her name and from one of the sources this is one of the women. I won’t state her name because we have yet to get proof of this affair. One of our sources, who claims they have some personal information about Alycia, states that Marcus and the third woman had a fling while Marcus was in Boston, Massachusetts for school. We are still trying to find information on these two to expand on it.
More on Marcus
Marcus now lives in Los Angeles, California. After going to school in Boston, we are guessing he moved to LA to be with Alycia. Before the leak, we think that Marcus and Alycia were living together at the time. However, after the expose we do think that Alycia did move out of their home. It does show Maia moving somewhere, with Alycia along with her. We are not certain if this is true, but having Alycia moving seems probable. Per one of our sources (they will not state where they got their information from) state, “she never left him” and that she “moved in with Maia for now”. They also state “she won’t leave him any time soon” but “does not trust him any longer”. Supposedly the source also claims that Alycia only “found out when the hack happened”.

If this is true, then all of Marcus’ friends know of the cheating during their time dating. If she is still with him still, it is still unfortunate. Marcus, either way, seems to be doing well for himself. From the data we mined, we found he lives in a nice home in LA and seems to have enough money to be partying and investing in start-up companies. He has an interest in computer apps and seems to have a dream to have a company of his own. His friend Jacob Horne and himself seem to take many online ventures. We do not know his true source of income but states that he is self-employed. Alycia may be funding his time in the United States or if he is receiving funding from her parents back to Australia. Either way, he does seem to have a bit of money.
We have no information of Marcus’ knowledge or feelings on the leak, his Facebook is some-what public. There seems to be no information about the incident, his social network accounts have been placed on lock down. He no longer has a Twitter, and his Instagram has been set on private. We found no reaction from his friends except one, Meg Lindsey, whom he has a longtime friendship with after being asked about the situation.

In conclusion
With no response or acknowledgement from either Marcus or Alycia, we do not know what the state of their relationship is. Fans and my team go by the necklace that Marcus gave to Alycia. Given to her by Marcus, still wearing it shows that she does still have feelings for Marcus. Both are people of privileged lives, with parents who funded their escape into the United States. Whatever draws Alycia to this man who chooses to cheat on her while she is working and in a relationship but from what my team found, is that he does not care. In a October 2016 comment made on his Instagram account (averagedude69) he acknowledged one of the sexual acts of the leaked photos. He even boasted about it:

Whatever Alycia continues to think is a mystery and it baffles my team to no end to stay with someone like this. It may be because she has low self-esteem, or she is blinded by her own emotions. Alycia may never read this, but if she does we hope she listens to what we say: You deserve someone better. Someone who loves you won’t cheat on you, nor would they hurt you, should be someone you love. If he cheated then, he will cheat again. Breaking up is hard, and if you do some days you will be thinking of going back. You’ll have a hard time with dealing with emotions but it’ll make you stronger. Have respect for yourself and surround yourself with positive people. We wish you the best in the future.
