So proud of my body... My whole self in general!!! I can literally see & feel myself growing, physically & mentally. My upper body strength is improving & that just gives me mor motivation to keep pushing. This has always been a challenging pose for me, but that has never stopped me from trying. My legs are straight & I was calm & able to hold it. Eventually, my legs will meet my shoulders & neck, but in due time. I've noticed that speaking my greatness into existence & focusing & visualizing more on that has been working in my favor. It's crazy how powerful the mind is. We can literally manifest anything, depending on what we put our energy into. I'm learning to believe in the unseen. The things that seem "intangible," are actually the things that I want. When I vowed to change my mindset, naturally, my world began to change, for the better. I'm also seeing that the law of less effort is real af! Like I've said before, nothing good comes from anything that is forced. None of this would be possible if I didn't learn to forgive myself, & then others. I can't really complain about anything at this point. The enemy can't break me, & God continues to show me unconditional love, so who am I not to show it back to others, myself most importantly? I am becoming more in tune with my divine feminine. Growing up around majority males, it was (& sometimes still is) difficult for me to accept certain aspects of my femininity (showing emotions especially). I've repressed a lot of what it is to be feminine, mostly out of shame. If was weird, because I've always loved things that were associated w/being a girly girl: I was a cheerleader/dancer nearly my entire life, I've always loved sunflowers (flowers & plants in general), dresses, I played with dolls, & I love the color pink... Yet, I was always with the boys playing ball, manhunt, & video games. Society portrays femininity as "weak," & I fell into the trap, especially after my 1st real heartbreak. I stayed away from love & felt like "being more like a guy" would save my feelings, when in fact, it made things way worse. Society associates emotions & showing emotion as a "female's trait," i.e. Weakness. That's complete bullshit in my opinion. We're all PEOPLE with FEELINGS. It's a human trait & theres nothing weak about it. If anything, is a sign of strength. "Feminist" have also rebelled against certain gender roles, & just men in general, which is just as bad, if not worse, than repressing the Devine Feminine. But not anymore. The war is over. As a woman, naturally, I am a nurturer & a lover. It is embedded in my DNA to be a caregiver. I am looking at certain "gender roles" from the divine masculine & feminine, & why I agree or disagree w/them. If the feelings come from a place of rebellion, then it is not for me. Being a woman is more than just makeup & high heels. I am a creator of life. That is a huge responsibility, yet, a very fulfilling one. As people, men & women, we all need to be more in tune with our divine masculine & feminine & have that balance; yin & yang. That is the only way we will be able to happily co exist. Ironically, it took loving another man being so in touch w/his divine feminine for me to realize my repression. *I definitely suggest everyone reading do their separate research on the divine feminine & the divine masculine. This morning, I did my usual ritual (pray, meditate, write), & I also smudged my surroundings as well as my entire body extensively. I've written a number of journal entries & it's not even noon. I just wanted to share the breakthrough that I had today with you all. Forgiveness is key to everything. I've been holding onto my past for so long, that it's hindered my current life. Today was the day that just finally had enough. I don't have any ill feeling towards my past bc I have learned so much, however, the evil that has been continuously haunting me overtime is no longer allowed. I feel rejuvenated. I feel like I've finally been able to close that extended chapter, & move on with my life in peace. I forgive myself for putting myself through those things, & I forgive the people that played a part. I had to look deep w/in myself to see that it was me. You can't truly love until you've learned to love & accept yourself. I am grateful for this needed revelation. I've passed a big test, & I am stronger & more ready for w/e is coming next. #dailyaffirmations #forgiveness #selflove #selfcare

Well guys, mercury's retrograde has officially come to an end (until the next one on April 9th lol). I know some of y'all are extremely happy it's over, but I'm cool either way. This time around, the experience has been very educational (per usual), & extremely fruitful for me. I am more aware & connected with the universe than ever before. A lot of self care took place. I am healing, & that is what's most important to me. To see how broken I was last year, to where I'm at now is astonishing. I'm still a work in progress, but I see what's happening. I am forever grateful for God's eternal love & everlasting patience with me. I can move on knowing that I tried my best, & I did it well. Nothing good will come out of anything that is forced, so I will continue to practice patience & let the destinies manifest on their own. Taking back control of my life once & for all. I've let 1 too many things distract me from reaching my potential, & that ends now. This has been one of the roughest years of my entire life, & I'm just ready to be a better version of myself. _______________________________________________ Though some people see the retrograde as a period of distraught, I've learned it is a time for do overs, second chances, fresh starts... Allat lol. With the new year & my birthday right around the corner, I just want to bring it in happy. As wild as 2016 has been, I've learned a lot about myself & those around me, so I'm grateful regardless. But routines tend to bore me And sometimes I just need to escape. But please don't ignore me Don't forget me And don't let our story end here. We just need to rediscover life to recreate So we can procreate At the appropriate time When it is right. But we can't hesitate to manifest We're still growing. You can't smell a flower when it has no pedals And you can't run away from destiny.

Sometimes you have to get lost in order to learn your route. You can only keep making the wrong turns so many times before you've realized you have been going the wrong way the entire time. Take a different route. It may still seem to only be an alternate route to the wrong way, but at least you will know.
