The scene of Voss flashing Naruto hand gestures at you when casting detect thoughts really does raise a few questions. Does my character do that every time I cast a spell during a skill check or does Voss suck at magic???

Pros of re-reading your own fic
a good time;
Has exactly the tropes you like and the characterization you want to read;
Gratification: yes you did finish a thing and yes you did do good;
just a very fun time all around.
Cons of re-reading your own fic:
Is that another TYpO
Underrated Dak’kon quote
my headcanon is that the human Zerthimon and Gith (cause this would have been pre civil war) met was actually the Nameless One cause TNO is the one being in the planes that could have left such a bad impression it would have permanently damaged the the Gith people’s view of humans for generations to come

Planescape Torement's Githzerai sayings
In PST, one of the most distinct things about the githzerai is their speech pattern. They place a heavy emphasis on 'knowing' the world around them, and commonly use metaphors and historical references in their words. So! Small complication of those I could find. Note that most of these are said by Dak'kon, and I will specify if they are said by someone else. If I missed any, feel free to add them!
"Ach'ali Drowning" - Said by Dak'kon when hurt. Ach'ali was a foolish githzerai who drowned in the sea of Limbo after asking so many useless questions that her focus, and shelter, collapsed in on her
"As twisted as Fri'hi's roots" - A complicated matter. Could not find any information of Fri'hi.
"Hashma's folly" - To cheat, used in the context of cheating in a bet. Said by Gaoha. Could not find info on Hashma, though it is also the name of an Egyptian sand-stone but I doubt that's what the writers were referring to.
"Hail, sword ringer" and "Zerchai's kin bow to you" - common greetings, to which one responds "And the traveler is pleased". Could not find any information on Zerchai.
To be as "Rrakma's Jewel" - In agreeance on a situation, specifically used in reference to Dak'kon's banishment. Said by Kii'na. Rrakma, usually spelled as Rrakkma, are githzerai war bands that hunt down illithids. Could not find information on Rrakma's jewel.
"Tachia's Folly" - Said by Dak'kon when he rolls a critical miss. The exact meaning is unknown because I could not find any information on Tachia, but seems to be Dak'kon reprimanding himself for a lack of discipline similar to 'ach'ali drowning'
"T'cha's choice" - A situation where you have no choice/only the illusion of choice. Could not find any information on T'cha.
"Their cupboards are bare" - Something said of a generous person
"Vilquar's Eye" or "Vilquar's heart beats in your chest" - To accuse another of treason. Latter saying is from Kii'na. Vilquar was an enslaved gith who acted as a spy for the illithids, only to be consumed by them once Zerthimon tricked him into thinking he'd won.
"Wrote the book of Anarchs" - Said in reference to a person being wise. Anarchs are those in githzerai communities responsible for maintaining stability in the chaotic plane of Limbo.
why r callouts always like "please dont harass this person and dont go after them. anyway heres every single detail of their life gathered by stalking and their private profiles for all to see"
"please don't go after this person! now let me post this document for every single one of my followers and list every single one of their usernames"

Looking at Orpheus' stats:
Larian did you want to make him a bard and then thought it was too on the nose?😭
The way Dak'kon is the only party member Annah shows sympathy for when they die LMAO
bringing back a classic
who wanna read my Vlaakith prequel in the style of modern Medusa retellings where I rewrite her into being simultaneously a the ultimate victim and the most smartest and most powerful being in the planes while absurdity demonizing everyone else in the story
If Vlaakith does anything evil it’s because a man was mean to her. Lae’zel would not be in the story or written as a pick me girl jealous of Vlaakith because we can’t have anyone be more sympathetic than her. Orpheus and Voss would be comically sexist and want to take her out because she’s such an empowered girlboss. Gith would not be mentioned at all or she’d be an obnoxious boymom who couldn’t see her son is a man child.
the author would brag about the stories queer representation on Twitter but in the actual book it would be Vlaakith having a female consort with zero personality traits that gets killed by Lae’zel to further the plot and Voss would be Orpheus’ homophobicly gay coded sidekick with a one sided obsession with him

Oh boy. This is quite bad! Spoilers for the Astarion book.
This is, uhhh... out of character (yes, even if it's 200 years prior to BG3) and not at all what is implied in the game. Completely deflates that whole event and kinda makes him out to be the perfect victim, while painting the Gur, a minority based on the real Roma people, as violent, bloodthirsty savages, regardless of the game portraying them as righteous and fairly level-headed. Also Astarion dies because he was being cartoonishly kind.
