I have noticed with some concern that certain characters in PMD The Human Connection are continuing to be misgendered. I will admit some fault in this myself; I tend to draw the pokemon characters of this comic as close to the original designs as I can while still having some accessories to give them a bit of an identity. The result of doing that is that sometimes it is not easy to tell the gender identities of certain characters.

And for new readers hopping in the middle of a new release or just joining in late into a chapter, it is unfair to assume that they will immediately pick up who is who or how to refer to them. It is also possible that is is deliberate sometimes, but I will assume ignorance rather than malice. It's just not easy to tell! Henceforth, with newer pages I will start having a "characters appearing in this page" section, which will list the names of the prominent characters and their pronouns. The only exceptions will be characters I want some mystery for, or have yet to introduce themselves, which will just be listed as "???" in the pages.
