I am level 2 autistic!♾️

I age regress involuntarily and voluntarily to cope with trauma and CPTSD! (Regression age is 1-12, big age is 19)

My special interests consist of Plushies, Adventure time, Animal crossing and Minecraft!

I am chronically ill and disabled! I am a wheelchair user + other mobility aids ♿️

I am genderqueer (it/its) :) my top surgery was this March and I started hrt 10/10/24! 🏳️‍⚧️💉

so one of the most insanely fucked things about getting on SSDI disability in the US is that if you don’t have enough work credits, you’re not eligible. period.

sorry, you’ve never been able to work because of your disability? sorry you don’t qualify for SSDI, only SSI. we don’t care that SSI is under poverty level and that disabled people have higher costs of living. oh you have $2000.01 in your bank account? we’re taking you off it immediately and it will take you a looong time to get back on.

sure there’s Disabled Adult Child, buuut your parent/s either need to be on disability themselves, on SSA retirement, or dead. and you only get 50% of their payments.

it’s definitely not by design. certainly not ableism and eugenics, no, no.
