NateJo Week 2026 Daily Challenges
Hi everyone! As I mentioned in my earlier post about NateJoWeek 2026 which includes general rules and prompts, here is the post with more specifics on the different daily challenges (with prizes!)
If you’re wondering why you would do this & “it’s fun!” isn’t good enough, there’s also a prize!
Prize: Create the best moodboard (as chosen by Tumblr poll) by the end of NateJo Week 2026 (Sept 7 11:59 Pacific Time) and get a fic of at least 5k words from bruinss (@droumack) on a prompt of your choosing.
Entries must be submitted using the tag #NateJoWeek2026 and contain at least 3 photos of Nate and/or Jo.
Tip: Never made a moodboard before? Canva has free templates!
Make a post discussing or teasing a NateJo WIP using the tag #NateJoWeek2026 or update a NateJo WIP on AO3 by 11:59 Pacific Time Sept 2, 2026. Winner is randomly selected from the entries.
Prize: A fic of at least 1k words written by early_birdd (@niche-n0thingness) on a prompt of your choosing.
Draw Nate and/or Jo! Don’t worry, you don’t need to be good at art because the winner will be picked randomly to encourage more participation!
Prize: A fic of 5k-10k words written by Schmub (@schmubin-around) on a prompt of your choosing.
Entries must be submitted using the tag #NateJoWeek2026 by the end of the week (Sept 7 11:59 Pacific Time) and contain at least a pencil sketch on non-lined paper to be considered an entry. Other art mediums are also OK!
Recommend a NateJo fic on Tumblr using the #NateJoWeek2026 tag. The person with the most reblogged recs list by the end of the week (Sept 7 11:59 Pacific Time) wins.
Prize: Fan art done by @wannabewachter for a prompt of your choosing.
Day 5: NateJo Word Search
If you’re wondering why you would do this & “it’s fun!” isn’t good enough, there’s also a prize!
Prize: First to post their completed word search with the #NateJoWeek2026 tag gets fan art done by me (@magicianbarbie) for whatever HRPF pairing you prefer.
(The actual wordsearch will be posted at the beginning of NateJo week just so no one is posting the answers before NateJo week starts.)
Make an original GIF of NateJo. The winner will be picked randomly from the entries to encourage more participation! /or it could be bruinss’ favorite
Prize: A fic of at least 5k words written by bruinss (@droumack) on a prompt of your choosing.
Entries must be submitted using the tag #NateJoWeek2026 and be a gif you created yourself featuring both Nate and Jo.
Get bingo by leaving at least 5 new comments on fics where NateJo is the primary pairing. Send proof to @plethoriall via Tumblr Ask.
Prize: A fic of at least 2k words written by @plethoriall on a prompt of your choosing.
You can comment on a work you've commented on before, but try and find ones you've not left a comment on.
