MC is sitting across the room from Sylus, angrily knitting away while her cat-ears twitch around on top of her head, her tail poofy and flicking in annoyance.
Sylus wants to eat her. Sheās so irritated. So cute. So her. So his.

He smirks at her, crossing his legs lazily as he watches her with an amused twinkle in his eyes. āKittenā¦ā He drawls. But MC ignores him, despite the fact that one of her cat ears involuntarily twitches in his direction. She violently stabs at the yarn, her face scrunched up in a scowl. A scowl that would usually scare most people away, especially in her line of work. A scowl that Sylus adores.
He chuckles quietly to himself before standing up and strolling over to where sheās sitting by the window. She stubbornly refuses to look up, but thatās okay. He crouches, softly twirling his finger around the tip of her tail. She shivers, feeling tingles all over her body, and immediately swats at him, her teeth bared. He laughs heartily.
āSylus it isnāt funny!ā She keeps swatting at him, her knitting project (no longer really a project and rather another victim of her wrath), dropped and forgotten on the floor. He dodges her swats, though he doesnāt back too far away, allowing her to get closer to him of her own accord before snatching her up in his arms.
MC feels herself being ensnared in his arms, his warmth enveloping her as he rubs his face on the top of her head, frizzing up the top of her hair and making her pin her cat-ears to her head. She grumbles, keeping the scowl on her face as she refuses to completely forgive him, though she allows him to touch her. Sylus takes note of the fact that she goes still in his arms, though she does dig her nails in his chest as punishment.
He welcomes it, even nipping at one her cute little ears, which makes her yelp and give a another half-hearted swat on his chest. So cat-like, so MC that he canāt help but laugh harder. It's like the biomodifico evolver just brought out what he already saw in her.
āKitten, forgive me. But you have to admit, itās funny.ā He laughs freely, damn near giggling, his chest vibrating with his amusement. MC, surrounded by Sylusā scent and the precious sound of his laughter, huffs, still trying to hold on to her indignance, though her tail wraps around his waist and her ears relax.
āTo you! I didnāt laugh at you when you were turned into a Caracal! You fuckingāā
But his unabashed laughter, one that only MC can draw out of him, drowns out her curses. And despite the fact that her pride is on the line, and despite the fact that she definitely plans to get him back for this later, she starts chuckling with him.Ā
Then eventually, both of them are filling the room with sounds of laughter.

iāve romanced tai on two slots and i wanted to ask; i remember at the beginning when someone said that tai doesnāt date commoners.
and ofc i donāt want to interpret this as him being classist and believing that commoners are just unworthy of his time. from what iāve seen, tai is definitely a prince but heās cautious of how he wields his power. heās open to new experiences and respectful and caring of others. and one thing that stood out to me was how he reacted to when his dad shamed him for not sleeping with ties right away. he said something to the affect of āi donāt need to abuse my power to get women into bed with meā.
so my interpretation of taiās refusal to sleep with commoners comes down to him wanting to make sure the women he sleeps with has a high enough social standing to be able to refuse him without consequences.

I didnāt need Zal to explain why. As she stated, itās been a topic of discussion for a few days at least so Iām quite aware of how she feels. Not to mention that Iāve been regularly following Zalās blog forā¦juuust over a year now (?) after an extended hiatus away from all social media but we are very much in sync with the thoughts and opinions on the characters/plot lines/plotholes and the general semi-awesome mess that is TVD.

Iām very much pro-Stelena/anti-Delena and hers is the logical and honest blog I hit up when the blatantly ignorant/intentionally obtuse Damon-stans (not to be confused with the cool and honest Damon-stans) or the garden variety TVDReddit trolls make me feel a bit homicidal.
Besides, I can admit that I was being a little bit generous with my opinion on Damonās imagined sexual prowess. But just a bit. Boy does have repeat customers.

so I ship SE and I was on twitter debating with a DE stan , and she sent me a thread on how, apparently, Stefan is a pathological liar. she claimed that āmore often than not, when Stefan talks about his past he leaves out crucial facts or recounts information that is so completely untrueā i.e when he told Elena it took him a while to control his ripper urges and that he did it on his own when Lexi was the one to help him.
Itās an old argument. And a wrong one. When confronted with his past, Stefan isnāt defensive or secretive, he doesnāt try to justify any of what he did, he tells Elena what she wants to know, itās just that he doesnāt open a conversation like, āAND THEN ONE TIME IN 1912 I DECAPITATED A WOMAN ā¦ oh Elena, can you pass the cheese?ā
I also want to for one moment bring up the fact that in 1x20, Stefan told Elena about him accidentally killing his father, accidentally killing his FATHER but when she talks to Damon, he talks about how thatās not the full story and makes it seem like Stefan getting him to turn is somehow worse than Stefan accidentally killing his FATHER.
why do people assume that just because you (understandably) identify chara as evil or just not a good person, that youāre blaming the actions you took on the genocide route on them? you can both acknowledge the fact that YOU made the choice to kill innocent monsters, and the fact that chara encourages you to do so, hence theyāre not a good person (and neither are you). idk why it has to be either or.
here's a hot take: i think people are allowed to talk shit about fanfiction as much as they want. as long as they're not leaving mean comments under the author's work and not leaving constructive criticism when the author didn't ask for it, you can talk about shitty fanfiction in public spaces. and yes i believe there is such a thing as shitty fanfiction sorry.
