EVERY TIME i see that someone has written lyrics to these, I end up reading ahead and find a line where I’m like “that’s too funny, how much creativity went into coming up with that?” And it’s always the CLEAREST lines. Like, that clearly says “make me fuck this steak all day”, there’s no other way to interpret it!

This was immensely huge for me as someone with anxiety issues. I used to drive myself delirious trying to ‘calm down before I went to sleep’ by staying up and just working myself into a panic. Having this knowledge and knowing that laying down and closing my eyes is a better option and counts as rest was way more helpful, eased my mind and actually sends you to sleep faster.

This actually makes things make sense, sometimes when I’m exhausted and know I can’t ever nap I just lie in bed for an hour and feel almost all of my energy return
