You shut your locker to reveal Calum Hood, captain of the soccer team, leaning against the other lockers. He’s grinning at you, and you can’t help but role your eyes affectionately at him, shifting the books in your arms as you wait for him to continue.

“You’re gonna be there, right?” He asks, reaching to take the books from you as the two of you begin to walk down the corridor. “I mean…as my girlfriend you kinda have to be there, you know moral support and all that, and…”

“Calum,” You cut him off, smiling up at him as you reached the main entrance. “Where else would I be?”

“Right. Great. Perfect.” He grins again. “Want a ride home?”

“Obviously, idiot.” You roll your eyes again, leaning up to brush your lips against his. “As my boyfriend, you kind of have to.”
