We looked more into my father's financial situation before he passed, and it turns out he never updated his will to include me in it as the first one was made before I was born, so it's very likely that we'll have to go into probate and it could take from months to years before I can inherent my father's possessions. So the plan is to keep staying at the apartment, but the rent is 1,390 a month and I don't have a job and my partner doesn't even make half of that. Not to mention I still have to pay for car expenses, gas, and groceries, a phone plan and internet. My father was supporting us and we now have nowhere else to go so please help us stay here!
