Today felt like one long stretch of digital noise. My workday was packed from the moment I logged in—meetings, chat threads, walkthroughs, questions waiting to be answered before I could even take a proper breath. Some conversations were productive, but others drifted into that familiar gray zone where time slows down and the mind searches desperately for something more interesting to latch onto. In those moments, I kept finding myself daydreaming about my Unreal Engine course—thinking about the game world I’m trying to build, the atmosphere I want players to feel, the universe that keeps pulling me back in. It was like a quiet spark flickering in the background, reminding me that my creativity is still alive behind the monotony of the day.

When the workday finally ended, it felt like I was stepping out of a dim room into fresh air. Paula and I headed out to pick up some groceries, the evening sky already starting to settle into that soft, dusky light. There was something comforting about the simple routine of walking beside her, pushing the cart, choosing what we needed. No rush, no deadlines—just us moving through the quiet rhythm of the store.

Because today was our anniversary, I decided to pick up sushi for the both of us. It wasn’t a big, elaborate celebration, but somehow that made it feel more meaningful. Just a familiar favourite, something that’s become part of our life together in a small way. On the drive home, the car felt peaceful—no radio, just the hum of the road and the comfort of being next to someone who understands me.

I rise with the sun though the world still sleeps, My vision burns and my purpose keeps. There’s a fire inside that won’t be tamed— This is the climb I’ve boldly claimed.

They said, “It’s too far, too high, too steep,” But dreams don’t thrive in silence deep. They live in effort, sweat, and strain, In every step through doubt and pain.

The path is jagged, rough, unclear, But I press on and crush the fear. For every fall, I stand again— Each scar a badge that proves I can.

No shortcut leads to summit heights, No easy road births brilliant lights. It’s grit and grind, again, again— The slow, fierce rhythm of champions’ reign.

I see the peak, I feel its call, And though I trip, I will not stall. For goals are earned, not given free, And greatness wakes inside of me.
