THE FLASH SEASONS 1 & 2 REVIEW (SPOILERS!!!) too late to the party but idgaf) Holy peak. I was on edge the ENTIRE season 1. I DID know that Wells was RF, but I still thought that MAYBE Wells was still the real Wells and RF was another Wells. Okay, I am getting all over myself, so in the alternate timeline when Thawne killed Cisco, I was genuinely shocked because I LOVE Cisco. He's like my baby, and I love his character, so imagine how relieved I was when Barry went back in time and reversed everything. Tom Cavanaugh's performance was amazing; he perfectly encapsulated the core of Eobard Thawne. He gave the best villainous performance I have ever seen on TV. Agree with me or not, Tom Cavanaugh's performance was spectacular. Now I do see why people say The Flash, season 1, is peak. It IS peak. Now for season 2, I had my suspicions when "Jay Garrick" introduced himself to Team Flash and warned them of Zoom. He gave me bad vibes all the way. Even when Zoom was in another place and Zolomon was with Caitlin, I literally thought that it was some sort of speed mirage until he revealed the concept of time remnants. Zoom was a well-written villain in my opinion, with the original Jay Garrick being a doppelganger of Henry. To be completely honest, Zoom was a terrifying villain; I mean, a serial killer psychopath speedster is not unheard of in DC. But Zoom's mannerisms were so horrifying; it felt almost real. Teddy Sears's performance as Zoom was really good; I didn't expect that from him. TS is better than season 1.

mine is... odd.

the first part i came up with was 'descrisp', because it was the name of my kingdom in crk 😭 i just wanted some kind of 'cookie' word -> crisp, and then i just added 'des' because it sounded right?

the ego part came from gotg 2, because even tho i hated him, i think he had a really cool name. i was also in a massive marvel phase when i came up with this user.

so boom ego + descrisp = egodescrisp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

there have been many-a-times where i've wanted to change my username, but i think it's got some charm to it now. i think it's really funny seeing people mispronounce it when i'm in the comments on a live stream or something. fav mispronounciation is definitely 'edogcripes'.

Well, in 2018 I wanted to start a YT channel, so I gave it the name 'Pixelhorse,' but since 'Pixelhorse' was such a common name, I was thinking of translating some words in another language; hence, the meaning would be the same. ✴ I recommend the pitt ofc but if you don't like gore, then I recommend Over the Garden Wall! It's so cute and short! The animations are visually appealing/so freaking stunning, the plot is short and sweet but also feels compleet, the music is amazing, and it's just the best cozy vibe you can get from a show!

✴ Hot take: I hate adult shauna she is pure evil! sorry NOT sorry!

i love a lot of different shows, so i'll give one rec for each of my fav genres: pluribus, the good place, game of thrones, house md, she-ra (2018) and yellowjackets!

My current hyperfixation is Daredevil (Netflix series); if I want to be broader, then it would be the Netflix Marvel shows (such as Jessica Jones, Daredevil, etc.). Anyways, so I am obsessed with Bullseye more; he is a villain in the Daredevil series. I have the actor's pics as my wallpaper like a poor girlfriend. 2. I don't read books a lot; I only read a few, but I can recommend The Hobbit and The Da Vinci Code (very common). 3. COSPLAY COSPLAY AND COSPLAY!!!! I would do literally anything to have the necessary props to cosplay as Daredevil or Moon Knight or Reverse Flash. 4. Well, firstly, I recommend Sherlock; it may be lengthy but good. Secondly, Jessica Jones (I liked it a lot) and Daredevil. Thirdly, the first few seasons of The Flash (the first 3 seasons only). Jessica Jones is barely a superhero series, so you will enjoy it for its mystery and shit. 5. Superman (2025) was 7/10 at best. tags: idk who to tag but @mermangione ig

i have read tons of posts explaining how by/ler is queerbait but i just dont see it. i really dont. character a is implied as gay from s 1 ep 1, has an implied crush on character b whos had a female romantic interest since s 1 ep 1, has constantly gone back to her and defended her every time she was in danger or being spoken badly about. meanwhile characters a and b keep having meaningful and close interactions because they are best friends. thats like it. im sorry but if you feel like you got queerbaited thats probably because you spent too much time over analizing every single interaction as romantic. we have been repeatedly told by/ler wasnt reciprocated.

STRANGER THINGS SEASON 5 SPOILER

Honestly, the Stranger Things finale was sad but weird at the same time. When Mike was telling the story of how El could have escaped and was still alive, it was weird for me. I know they are still coping with El being gone, but that leaves the possibility of El still being alive. The Duffer brothers did leave El's ending for the viewers to interpret, but personally, they should have left El dead. I think they added that scene so in the future they can make a Stranger Things spin-off about Eleven. One thing I ABSOLUTELY hated was how short Vecna and the Mind Flayer's fight was. Like, where were the demos in the abyss? The whole fight should have been more versatile and longer. The whole fight felt rushed and unfinished, like the main villain felt more like some side villain they just encountered. I mean, the mind flayer and Vecna ARE the big bads of Stranger Things (I mean, there are more, like the military and shit, but yeah). The writing SUCKED on the final battle, but other than that it was okay-ish. The ending with Nancy, Jonathan, Robin, and Steve was the best for me. It felt real, and I cried with them. Oh, I forgot to mention, Dustin's speech was also well done. I think that scene was the tease for the next Stranger Things spin-off. We will probably see them in Philadelphia doing random shenanigans on the spin-off. Vickie was nowhere to be seen. I was giggling and kicking my feet at Hopper's proposal to Joyce.
