question of the day: are people misinterpreting my words or are the words i say not truly conveying what i’m trying to communicate?

i’m not discounting the fact that my anxiety began when i was in first grade which also just happened to be 2001 which also happened to be the year 9/11 happened

my guts contain multitudes: a room temp fresca, 20+ years worth of vomit inducing anxiety, and an insatiable desire to drink bowel prep and have a camera shoved up my ass!!!

men are so funny in like a “if i don’t laugh ill cry” kind of way.

uh there is something very scary happening in my tummy and guts rn

been doing some yin yoga and it makes my body feel so good. i’m like perpetually hydraulically pressing my own body through stress and inactivity; the yoga is slowly creating space in my skeletal and muscular structures and it’s sooooooo sexy

i bit the bullet and signed up for a pbs subscription so i can watch all the ken burns’ series & films and im practically horny about it GOD

it’s genuinely crazy to me that people just like have kids with no prior knowledge about kids. they’re like “i’m gonna be a mommy!!” and then are surprised when it’s hard. they’re surprised when their lives change. they don’t know a damn thing about developmental psychology or even like the basic idea that the environment you are born into (and live in for the first 3-5 years of life) dramatically impact the way a child understands and experiences the world and people around them. adults who are pissed when the baby cries. they take it personally as if crying isn’t the most direct way an infant can communicate a need. it makes me want to pull out my hair.
