Blubbering within seconds of talking to Lorna Byrne. Her books were a huge influence on my transition into Spirituality. I tell her I'm pregnant 🤰 and she lights up giving me a cuddle. Today is all about #shavasana 🤒 I enjoyed #yoga and #hotstonetherapy yesterday, and me believing I'm a #fire #element 🔥 meant a strong concoction of CLEANSE. As a result, last night I was siiiiiick 😷🚽 Refusing to take tablets 💊🚫 because I don't believe in them, meant all night of discomfort, however much much better today 🌞 The body is an AMAZING Healing Mechanism. For me personally, I want to feel what it's trying to sort out, not blanket it with numbing chemicals. I genuinely feel I've healed faster through respecting my body and believing in its natural ways. We have so much power without realising - don't ever be fooled into thinking you're weak. Coming back to some roots, aka, #Rudgwick Wonderful memories to a real turning point in my life. The walks cannot be beaten around here, I'm in such a place of comfort right now 😍 I remember feeling really grumpy about our country #England and feeling desperate to leave and live elsewhere... Since #traveling this changed. Don't it always seem to go? 😏🎵 The countryside is SO healing. This is SO TRUE! And it's a journey of acceptance. Look how much more fun that crazy squiggle is?! I'd rather ride that roller coaster. The learning journey is much better too. Did you know, when we fail, we PROGRESS 3 X FASTER ? A cloudy dog walk, but we laughed the whole way! #virabhadrasana1 Interesting hip alignment - can you see how my hips are facing forward, yet my back foot AND heal are angled 45 degrees on the floor? This is apparently the traditional Hatha alignment, but NOT EVERYBODY has that much flexibility in their hip flexors!! If your back heal lifts from the earth and your back foot faces forwards (like a raised lunge position) this is fine!! I totally support tweaks in poses to meet the needs of your body as an individual. Sod the traditions from a 3,000 year old alignment. They're beautiful and wonderful to work with, but if you can't do it, you tweak it. #yoga #yogaeverydamnday #yogainspiration #yogateacher #tweakit #youredoingalright (at Pip Reiki)
