On most occasions, Emyra’s small stature was never an issue for her. All it was was a simple fact of who she was, and that was that. However, there were still those times when her height got in the way...such as now, trying to reach for the book at the top shelf at the library. She had tried to reach it normally, of course, but now, after stretching herself to her limit, the young woman was very tempted to just up and climb the shelf.

Her thoughts of scaling the books was interrupted as soon as a voice rang out from behind her, causing her to jump a little. “O-oh! Really?” Emyra turned to look at (or more specifically up at) the much taller man who had extended the offer and gave him a grateful smile. “That would be really appreciated, actually! Um, it’s that one up there, the one called 101 Ways to Cook Fish.”

26. Best thing that has ever happened to you?

Okay so this is the first thing that’s coming to my mind, but I ended up going to an acting workshop for young actors under a really successful scouting agent. We had to interview with him, and I was so scared that I wouldn’t get in, but he liked me a lot and honestly??? If it wasn’t for him and the workshop and his trust in me to be an assistant and even a chaperone I probably wouldn’t have had to confidence to continue with theatre and acting.

34. Any talents?

Uhhh I sing, act, and dance (tap and jazz are my best). I play guitar and the ukulele, and I draw? Um I think that’s really it??? I also have a knack for eating so that could be considered a talent.

19. If you had one wish, what would it be?

Ahhh this is gonna sound sorta sappy??? But I would definitely wish for all my older brother’s dreams and goals to come true, without hesitation. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this before here, but my older brother, Patrick, has autism. Needless to say, things have never been the easiest for him, especially since there’s a lot of people out there that don’t understand him. If I could somehow make his dream to write for children’s shows come true right now, I’d trade anything in a heartbeat.
