[ ◐ ] my muse is having a sleepover with your muse.
First, there was the rumbling roll of thunder.
Then came a flash of lightning.
And suddenly, everything went dark.
There was a shriek as the bathroom door flew open and Alice came darting out. While she was by no means afraid of the dark, small dark spaces and this little woman did not mix. It wasn’t long before she was curled up on the couch next to Wylan who had a cheeky grin stretched across his lips.
“What? Don’t look at me like that!” Alice groaned as she averted her gaze.
“You know!” she sighed as she got up and walked into the kitchen. There, Alice fetched some candles to give the room some light. Back to the livingroom she went where she sat down some candles on the coffee table and other various surfaces. Thinking back on that night, the soft glow of the candles had indeed presented a certain mood in the tiny apartment.
The two sat in utter silence for only a moment before Alice caught glimpse of the man next to her giving her... a look.
“Looks like the power is not coming back on...,” Wylan sighed playfully as he peered down at her with this adorable puppy dog eyes of his.
The dancer’s brows narrowed, immediately getting a hunch at where he was about to go with this.
“Yes. It appears so. Whatever are we to do with all this time? It’s much too early to go to sleep. This has become a waste of a sleepover. I had so much planned for us tonight.” Her tone was dull, but she might as well toss him the bait and get it over with. Not that she wouldn’t enjoy what he had to suggest, but dammit! It was supposed to be a night of fun! Just... not that kind of fun!
“I can think of a few things,” Wylan then coo’d at her as he scooted in closer and wrapped an arm around the dancer’s waist.
“Like ghost stories? Shadow puppets? Hide and seek? Because that’s what I was thinking and not countless rounds of sex. Although, if you play hide and seek with me, I might give you a prize for finding me.”
