“Three years of Existential Dread”

Finally finished the piece I’d been working on since Moon got his repressed emotions back! It was really fun to work on, as well as incredibly challenging. My main goal was to find a way to convey things like anxiety, despair, and intense anguish visually - especially how it was all raining down on Moon all at the same time during the episode he got it all flooding back at once.

Sun having hobbies that he’s embarrassed about (cuz let’s be real here, with how he is treated and has been treated, he’d probably be on the boat of ‘I can’t show people what I like or else they might make fun of me for it’) and he just gets comfortable enough with Dahlia he gets to do said hobby or mentions it to him.

I'd like to think Sun likes buying packs and opening them to collect cards, has binders full of them (doesn't play bc he 1. doesn't have any friends and 2. gets genuinely angry while playing most times and he does not like to get angry)

so he just collects the pretty and silly cards (if it wasnt magic in canon I would have it be yugioh bc they have some really cute cards, look up the melffy catty card and you'll see what I mean)

one day Dahlia buys him a dress and is helping him put it away without anyone noticing when he finds the cards, and really really likes them (collecting cards seems to be a common trait with suns)

soon they start just looking through them, talking about them and things the cards make them think of, and also maybe opening packs together, gambling is a good way to bond lol

Dahlia starts to teach Sun illusion/conjuring with the cards, having him bring the creatures in them to life in some way

I am ANGUISHED MY POOR BABY RAHHHHH 😭😭

I wonder if Terra is taller then Carmine and Dahlia, has she ever stood next to them? To talked to them at all???

It feels like it fits so well especially with suns trama
