I got a little late, so my friends were waiting, and the food there was expensive (it was almost twenty bucks for a medium popcorn bag and a small water brah that was straight up a highway robbery) and we settled inside in our seats. Not a lot of people, probably because it was a Monday ad first screening of the day. My theater experience was really good, no one was annoying and like ten people max in the theater.
Me and my other friend whispered sang the lyrics during Caine's song, it was a sweet moment between us two. But then the next episode rolled up, and all three of us looked at each other and we knew we were cooked.
It took me and my other friends butt to realize Jax abstracted. Because I thought it was others who escaped the cellar. And When Ribbit put the bow and Jaxs's ears everyone in the theater went 'awww' before then she ruined everything for herself. Pushing Ribbit away and I heard her start her cringe spiel and I facepalmed. And then the song came.
"isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful?"
Anf it was showing us pictures of Jax and Pomni, and even I was confused for a second, because I thought the song was about Pomni, because why would it be singing another when Jax... And then I realized my eyes were tearing up. Because yes, she was there, and she finally accepted herself in the last moments of her life.
The ending was wonderful, I loved it, I thought it was going to be more bitter than sweet, but too my surprise it was the other way around. So yes, I actually really loved it.
