Idea 2: after lunar tells everyone everything Sebastian and ms joy found out about the deal between dark and president earth and take it as a threat to the sanctuary

Spiraling

Following the deaths of Dazzle, Night, roxas and Bonnie, Lunar begins to blame himself.

He wasn't a good enough spy, so prez sent Dazzle. And when Dazzle told everyone else that she had been a spy, Lunar stood there a watched with little input. When she was killed, he felt guilty.

He ran, one of the only things Lunar could actually do in that situation. When he arrived at the daycare, he though they all blamed him, despite no one explicitly saying that they did.

After the craziness settles down, he have moments in private where he breaks down, even harming himself in certain cases. Though I imagine he'd find ways to hide it easier considering he wears full long sleeves

Lunar would also go out of his way to make more jokes, do more favors for his friends just to hide his feelings and "makeup" for what he did.

He also knew Earth was stressed too and didn't want to put his problems onto her. He never ended up telling her

That is until a very emotional night where Lunar really broke down and ended up breaking himself. Like literally.

Eartg found out this way and was shocked. All Lunar could really do in that moment was bawl his eyes out into his best friends arms

I dont even think this would be a comforting fluff moment for either. More so a very scary event
