It must be the adrenaline but I just can't sleep. And I have work a few hours from now. But I need to spread this excitement in all social media I'm in.
I am a big Rune Factory fan. Huuuuge.
A few years back, the devs, Neverland, declared bankruptcy. But I didn't lose hope, it was Marvelous' IP, they can absorb the devs or get new ones. So everytime I saw comments saying that 5 was impossible, I always told them the same thing. It can still happen. Even Yoshifumi Hashimoto, Bokujou Monogatari's dad, assured that all is not lost with the series.
But 1 year with no news became 2, 3, 4. I started losing hope. Told myself that if the series will truly be gone, atleast they went out with a bang since RF4 was a perfect game.
But here we are, almost 7 years after RF4's release, nobody expecting an announcement. A port and a new game. All is good. All is well.
So I would like to spread the word, even tho I don't have a voice. Educate the people who will compare this to Stardew Valley. Introduce this to those who are still sticking with Story of Seasons. Slap this in the face of Harvest Moon players. Let it be known that the king of farming/adventure is back and make it stay for good this time.

I never bothered with TI on my first playthru on the Vita but gave it a second chance on my Switch. I swear there are nights I just canât sleep since ideas keep popping in my head XD
I came up with making some sort of theme park while I was laying down tracks connecting the portals. I wanted to name it Rocket Slime Park but text count happened >< Feel free to summon it and check it out :DÂ
*I had some JP people repost the huge Slime logo and their works are just mind-blowing!
UPDATE!
Hereâs the main menu screen. Weâll probably still tweak this a bit but otherwise, this is the final one. This will also have some subtle animations like the main game! We wonât be revealing them just yet. You all have to see it yourselves once the game is out ;D

Dragon Quest-ions Answered: Fujimoto-san Talks Dragon Quest Builders
Hi hi, everyone! Theresa from Treehouse here. Hope youâre still having fun saving the world of Alefgard, and keeping it out of the Dragonlordâs clutches.
With all of these sconces and braziers, you could say I have a thing for fireâŚ
The Dragon Quest series is a powerful force in the world of Japanese RPGs, and Square Enix has quite literally rebuilt the experience from the ground up, creating something exciting for fans and newcomers alike. As for me, Iâve had the wonderful opportunity of working with them leading into the launch of Dragon Quest Builders on Nintendo Switch, and as a fan of the game myself, I took a moment to ask the gameâs producer some burning questionsâŚ

How old are the warlords in Ikesen at the time? Do you have a clue?
I always prefer to go by my own age, but historically, in 1582, the IkeSen guys are:
Yukimura: 15
Masamune: 15
Mitsunari: 22
Kojuro: 25
Ieyasu: 39
Kennyo: 39
Hideyoshi: 45
Nobunaga: 48
Kenshin: 52
Mitsuhide: 54
Shingen: 61
Motonari: 85
Sasuke:Â fictional character, but canonically around the same age as MC:
Iâm assuming that Motonari was reborn as Ponce de LeĂłn and then again as Dr. Heidegger, otherwise heâs a Bount or a vampire, or something.
Olâ boy looks good for 85!:
Work it, twerk it, Gramps!
Hello! Yasmin from the English Team here! Just want to clear up the age thing a little, because weâve gotten a few notes from people super freaked out if theyâre dating a Daddy or a child, haha. So how old are these guys?
The answer isâŚup to you! Generally. Each character has a little âresumeâ we all work off of, and the general âageâ of the characters (note, âcharactersâ, so not their actual historical selves) ranges from early twenties to early thirties. Here are the Warlords sorted in order of their imagined ages:
Ieyasu Mitsunari Masamune/Yukimura <âthe Heroine is somewhere around here Hideyoshi/Mitsuhide/Sasuke Nobunaga Kenshin Kennyo Shingen
As you can see, Ieyasu is technically the âbabyâ of the group, and Shingen is the sexy older man! Hee. In any case, none of their ages are actually stated in the story (their âagesâ are more for our reference on how to present them to you), so itâs completely OK for you to go by what ages you want to imagine them being.
So, never fear! Your man is exactly who you WANT him to be. And thatâs the fun of fiction.
It's fiction people. Don't sweat it!!! I for one, welcome all the ojisans!
First time getting all the stories! Completely f2p, just had to remember to buy ornaments as soon as the event started. Now I'm out of gold đđđ
It maybe just me but whenever I hear the Japanese VA refer to MC/you as "kisama", I feel like it's derogatory in a way? In Japanese, there are several ways to call someone "you" but "kisama" seems like the most demeaning one out of "anata, omae, kimi and (such that I probably forgot)" I simply don't feel the love when they say that...
Hello, Precious!
Isnât it funny how words change over time?
Ainât (formerly âamnâtâ) is a perfectly fine contraction of âam not,â âare not,â and âis not,â but we can thank Charles Dickens for giving it the reputation of being âincorrectâ today (itâs not), by associating it with the lower classes in his books, and therefore taking it straight out of the speech patterns of educated society.
From what I understand, âkisama 貴ć§,â was not always used when being rude, as the âki 貴â in âkisamaâ denotes âvalue,â âhonor,â âprecious,â etc.Â
Appearing around the 16th century, kisama was used for respected individuals of high rank, typically among the warrior classes.
At the time, its usage was polite, so Nobunaga, who uses it often, would be applying the archaic intention of âyou,â when he addresses his modern-day beloved.Â
âOmae ăĺâ was the same way, once an honorific, and now downgraded to simply âyou,â sometimes rudely.
Since we get to hear their voices in the game, we can discern the context by their tone, the same way as in English.Â
For example:
âCan you help me?â hopeful/inquisitive
âWho knocked my cup over? Was it you, again!?â rude/sarcastic/angry/accusatory
Itâs hard to imagine that as hopelessly, helplessly in love with Chatelaine as Nobunaga is, that heâs calling her âyou bastard,â instead of a respectful âyou.â unless she killed Kenny
I donât remember seeing it, so I may have forgotten, but does Chatelaine ever say anything about being called âomaeâ or âkisama?âÂ
To her modern ears, it could potentially be an insult that could lead to a misunderstanding; but to Masamune, who calls her âomae,â and Nobunaga who uses âkisama,â they are both being polite to her, and using the correct terms of their time period.
For English speakers, imagine that you traveled to the 11th century and no one could understand your saying âyou,â because that word wouldnât really catch on for another several hundred years.Â
They might think that youâre being rude or even calling them some kind of name!
Hello! Sorry to butt in, but this is actually a really interesting topic that weâve always wanted to talk about!
To begin with: both of you are right! Kisama (貴ć§) was once an honorific way to refer to someone, and now itâs rude to the point that you could translate it to mean âbastardâ, or other equally colorful ways to refer to âyouâ. And indeed, Nobunaga could be seen as simply using the term because of the time period.
However, one thing that you canât forget is that you, the player, are not from the Sengoku period. And so, for most players (particularly Japanese players) âkisamaâ is going to sound extremely rude. This is intentional. Because Nobunaga is, to most people, extremely rude. He believes himself to be above everyone. And why shouldnât he think that (stay with us here, weâre getting our point!)? Position-wise, heâs close to being the King of the World (âworldâ, being Japan, of course), and as far as he is aware, no one can match up to his power. Therefore, to Nobunaga, everyone is a âkisamaâ, regardless of how they feel about it. âKisamaâ is a sign of his position at the top.
And thatâs an important pointâthat EVERYONE is âkisamaâ. Part of what makes the modern usage of âkisamaâ so provacative is that in most cases when you see it used, the character would not normally refer to another person that way. The character usually has to be pretty angry to switch to that word, which adds to the insult. For Nobunaga, itâs just a statement of fact. He is Nobunaga, above all, therefore you, who are not Nobunaga, are âkisamaâ.
So while Nobunaga is in no way being respectful, he is also not being especially rude to you (relative to anyone else) either. His self-important nature is also a nice contrast to his ticklishness as well as his extreme fondness for sweetsâŚand you :)
Masamune (and almost every other guyâs) use of âomaeâ is more them being casual with you than rude, as well. âOmaeâ is an interesting way to refer to a person, as it can either be a sign of closeness or dislike depending on the context. Hereâs a list of what the warlords call you in Japanese! Note that Ieyasu is the only one who calls you âantaâ (a kind of slangy way of saying âanataâ), Sasuke is the only one who calls you âHeroine-sanâ, and Mitsunari, polite as ever, calls you âHeroine-samaâ (due to our translation style, this unfortunately was lost in translation entirely)!
Nobunaga: Kisama (貴ć§), Heroine Masamune: Omae (ăĺ), Heroine Hideyoshi: Omae (ăĺ), Heroine Ieyasu: Anta (ăăă), Heroine Mitsuhide: Omae (ăĺ), Heroine Mitsunari: Anata (貴弳), Heroine-sama Yukimura: Omae (ăĺ), Heroine Shingen: Kimi (ĺ), Heroine Kenshin: Anata (貴弳), Heroine Sasuke: Kimi (ĺ), Heroine-san Kennyo: Omae (ăĺ), Heroine
(Note: âkisamaâ isnât really a word people use in everyday modern life. You hear it a lot more in anime/games, and if someone used it seriously itâs more likely theyâd be laughed out than taken at their word. âTemeeâ is more of the word you would hear in its place, incidentally another word that started off polite and became extremely insulting with time).
Sorry for the sudden lecture, but we hope you find this as interesting as we do!
