Procrastination at Best

I don’t remember what the last thing I posted on here was. But I’m sure it was something before I became an event coordinator or merchandiser for SRG. 

PiddQuinn, What is SRG?

It’s Storm Rush Gaming. A video game organization that I work for. We host tournaments. We have esports teams. And we have a nice little community here in my small town. What do I do for them? Well, I used to just straight up coodinate their events. I would be the one who would sit there and say, “Hey we should have a mario tennis tournament.” or “Hey we could play Wario Smooth Moves for prizes.” Stuff of that nature. 

I’ve also been using my sewing skills to sew pillows for the group. I haven’t sewn many because there’s a current issue I can’t really talk about it (it’s just business related. Nothing terrible. Just puts a hold on everything.) I’m also the manger of our little E-sports smash team. (It’s a cute little team of guys having a good time playing smash ultimate.) 

Not gonna get too detailed about my personal life but I am too. LMAO. 

I adopted a hedgehog. I named her Cordelia because I really like the anime Romeo x Juliet and Juliet’s best friend and #bestgirl is Cordelia. Seriously she’s really cute and awesome... And i’m a bit of a romantic and fancy myself as... Juliet. (haha). 

I work two jobs to pay my bills for the struggle but also for my free time of being able to help Storm Rush grow and sew my own designs of clothes I hope to sell. I really have a passion for it. I really do. I have complete faith these will work out somehow. Crosses fingers. 

I write stories on Wattpad on my free time under the same user of my tumblr. (PiddQuinn on Wattpad... not hard to find I guess?) 

And I stream... as PiddQuinn as well. haha. I’ve streamed Catherine and have broken down why Vincent is guilty or innocent in whichever situation Vincent is thrown into. It’s a good game. I’d like a marriage therapist to play it see what they think. 

My sister and my dog bear have moved away to washington state. That’s kinda cool. And we now have Venom, who is actually the sweetest rottweiler/dog I’ve ever met.

Hello new people. How are you? lmao

Lots of stuff to update. Lots... I’ve been through quite a bit these past two years with plenty of funny stuff my parents have done. So ...?

So I’m still really into cosplay and have finally finished one cosplay from scratch... only to want to redo it anyway. Lol. I’m still hopeful about it.

I’ve made three really good friends. I don’t get to spend much time with people. One of them is a cosplayer and she’s very motivating.

I don’t spend time with a lot of people. I take care of old people with memory issues for a living and that eats up most of my time as I work 2pm-10pm. And... I like to sleep in most days. I’m also not back in school but am hoping my seemstress stuff kicks off (which I’m sure it will once I start my designs at the end of the month).

I’ve been designing. I really need to  get that all together. But I’ll link the website on here soon. I’ve been doing a lot of alterations and that’s been a pretty good business. I can take work off of my regular job when I need to because of this side business.

Along with that side business, I’ve been voice acting and singing on the side. It started with my cousin working on something and then he wanted to cover vocaloid songs. So I helped him out, but now I want to do my own thing and my own song covers. So I’ve been getting into the groove of that. I’ll put a sample up here for anyone who wants to hear (both the acting and singing).

Speaking of side business, I’ve entered a organization set up by my friend that is a gaming community. We stream our tournaments and other miscellaneous things. And we have now become twitch affiliates! (So exciting!) I’m event coordinator and am planning on pushing our streaming as a priority and may personally stream games I would like to stream because... we kind of have to. Haha.

On top of all that I have a daughter now. She’s a hedgehog named Cordelia. She’s really cute and seems to only like me. She likes baths but hates having her feet washed. She’s very nocturnal or maybe she hates the family bunny. I don’t know.

On top of that (haha), I’ve been upgrading my room slowly but surely. My closet is now a functional closet instead of crammed objects that take up space. And I finally have a dresser for the first time in my life. I also have nightstands for the first time in my life. And I have finally have a full sized bed for the first time in my life too.

I watch anime now like Saturday morning cartoons. I wake up and just watch things I need to catch up or want to catch up on. This includes Tokyo ghoul (since the third season came out), Boku no Hero, Ancient Magus’ Bride, Konosuba season 2, and some DC animation movies (since they’re really good).

So it happened ... heh...

The reason I’m not sharing this on the No Game No Life confessions is that that is a page for good times, and it’s meant for the fans of the page, not me. I just thought I would let everyone know why I wouldn’t be talking about the movie tomorrow.

I do have the urge to go, but I am busy within my community to help those unite after what has happened.

That said... I guess I’ll give my side of what happened. It’s not much but... it was crazy. My brother-in-law had left the house around 6 to go to work at a starbucks that’s near the Strip (the place where the event took place). This stabucks is located much closer to where the bullets were flying than I had originally thought. The university is about a twenty minute (or less) drive from the Strip. And that made it absolutely terrifying as he was working, and students were in the library. The shooting happened. People started sharing it on twitter. He heard while he was at work, the university heard, and most of my friends heard. I was about to fall asleep when I heard my phone vibrate. I was stupid for being angry, because had I read what those messages said... Well... Let’s just say I never ignore my phone after it vibrates now. Once my brother-in-law knew, he was panicked. Everyone in the shop was, but they weren’t kicked out onto the street. Once the university knew, they kicked students out of the library instead of locking it down. Some students still hadn’t heard the news and didn’t know where to go. On top of that, some students had to go through the strip to go home.  I wake up to my alarm to go to work, but I notice I have A LOT of notifications on my phone I checked my messages, seeing that everyone was asking if I was okay and if I was away from the strip. I didn’t understand. I checked why there was a notification from Facebook to ask if I was safe. I clicked the about, and I was mortified. All I saw was: “Mark yourself safe during The Violent Incident in Las Vegas.  49 found dead, 319 injured.” I immediately went to my sister’s room to see if my brother-in-law made it home. He was safe. I was so scared of knocking and not hearing his voice, that I went in the room, and I was so glad he was okay. I answer everyone who asked if I was okay (including my manager). My manager and I then asked how our coworkers were feeling. We decided not to open the store for the day. I didn’t know how to go about my day. I’m fine now. I can function, and I’m really hoping events can help people find comfort and move forward. I don’t want to dwell too much in what happened. I don’t really want to talk about the event at this time. I’ve already spoken out that we need to politically speak about this soon. I’ve already said some people still need healing. I think I’m done with my healing. I’m trying to comfort others and reach out and educate others about what we could possibly do to move forward. For those concerned about my mental well-being...  Honestly, I’m not fully okay. It’s hard to sleep at night. I’m doing my best at work. I’m not drained or not able to move forward, but I’m just not fully okay.

I’ve been thinking about making Youtube videos of my first job especially since I’ve been in an artistic mood and am saving for a tablet. I’m also pretty hyped (as mentioned on twitter) about the No Game No Life movie. (If they don’t conquer the world I will be a little disappointed.) So I’ll keep this username and let you guys know what’s up on this tumblr account. 

STORY TIME

You know those stereotypes that college students starve because they have no money?

...Yeah... I’m not one of those anymore. I got a job that has tips, and I’m actually lucky enough to get tips that supported both me and taco bell.

... Except now. ...

Now, I bring food from home because I actually starved to save some of those tips to buy Tupperware because Taco Bell got rid of the quesaritto and my body rejected everything else. THAT! And I learned... I could bring food from home...

If we’re meant to roam the earth, why do we stay in one place?
