My constant companion - 'La Campanella' ... :-) by Bo  Via Flickr: Fuchsia 'La Campanella' In these super-hot days of record temperatures, Lady Bo and I tend to retreat into the shade and sanctuary of a patio bench, above which is a beautiful hanging basket smiling down at me. The bloom with this broadest greeting is Fuchsia 'La Campanella,' Italian for "the little bell," but for me, my constant companion. Drink and Lady Bo soon find themselves abandoned again, while I disappear into the house, re-emerging with my trusty friend, the Canon G16. I reckon you know the rest ... :-))

Olympic golden laurel for Team GB ... :-) by ◆ Bo ◆ Via Flickr: Britain's magnificent Olympic team of men and women have topped out on the medals chart in Rio 2016, Brazil. They totalled the most medals in either home or away Games in more than 100-years. So far they've collected 66 medals, 27 Gold, 22 Silver, 16 Bronze, and will pick up either another Gold or Silver in tonight's boxing. Nice one, boys and girls, you're all Olympic champions ... :-))
