Jane: Awesome! I'm so excited! Let's meet outside of the museum when it opens, so we can get the most out of this!

Jane: I would love that, actually! I love art, but I don't know too much about it and I'd love to know more! Is Saturday morning good for you?

Right, right, clear heads prevail! I guess freaking the heck out doesn’t make it any better.

I don’t suppose you’d be interested in a role at all~?

That’s no something that usually works, no. Come up with a plan that you think will help. It makes you feel like you’re making progress, and it actually works towards getting things accomplished. I don’t know how that would apply to this situation, but I’m sure you can think of something.

Oh my god, for a second, I thought the LAMT was telling us the whole Theatre had closed, and I almost had a heart attack.

This is okay, though! This is fine. We can totally find the people willing to support the LAMT. We always have before!!

Deep breaths, Mason. People seem pretty upset about the production, you’re all pretty fond of the LAMT, it seems. Good luck with finding all of the help you need!

Jane: Hey! So I'm thinking about going to the Museum of Contemporary Photography this weekend.

Jane: I was wondering if you would be interested in going with me? Give me the tour and make sure I appreciate it properly?

I’ve considered it, but that’s effort that I can’t see myself going to. Plus, this place pays well and I always get to take food home at the end of the night, so I guess it’s not all bad. But you’re right, I don’t have a passion for pasta, I’m very much into fashion but have yet to find a steady job in that department. 

It’s hard to get anywhere, if you’re not willing to put in the effort. I can see why you wouldn’t exhaust yourself for Italian food, though. I imagine that’s a fairly hard industry to break into.

That’s such an interesting phenomenon. I wonder why that is. It seems so counter-intuitive. I’m sure someone’s done a study on why that could be. Oooh I knew they’d be out there! Anyone that we can add to our otter pop collective or no?

Well, Sam is a viable option. Puck just turned it into something sexual.

Really? Well, blue’s still the best. There aren’t really any I don’t like though. I mean… it’s probably not healthy no matter what time it is. I’m guessing. 

See, but during the day I have the chance to work it off. At the very least, I feel better about it.

Otter pops?

Popsicles? You had a deprived childhood, Mason.

I’m going to go ahead and assume that’s a type of ice cream or something, but why don’t you tell people you just went down on a smurf? That’s guaranteed to make them remember you. Just sayin’.

Yeah, I’m going to pass on that one. Memorable is fine, if it’s in the right way. I don’t think I’m quite down with being known as “that chick who thinks she went down a smurf.”

It’s just so hard to actually stop studying, even when you know it’s the best thing to do. My roommate is the greatest, though don’t get me wrong. There have absolutely been times when I’ve bodily dragged her to bed when she’s stayed up late studying for the latest horrible anatomy test, so it’s definitely a mutual thing. It’s one of the reasons we work so well together. That and the fact that she isn’t afraid of rejection to quite the same extent I am, so she’s okay with checking stuff for me, then comforting me after. She’s my bearer of bad news and thank goodness I have her. And then I make sure she eats and doesn’t do anything too dangerous, since she’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie.

It honestly sounds like the perfect arrangement. The two of you take care of each other, and that’s really invaluable in any aspect of life. Roommates can be so hit or miss, and the wrong arrangement can kill your college experience.

I mean, there’s no reason not have one! They aren’t necessarily just middle-of-the-summer treats, though I would argue that that’s the best time to have them. But I have ice cream year round and I see no reason why this is any different. Hmm, I’m sure they’re out there somewhere. We’ll make otter pop buddies with them, fear not!

I actually crave things like ice cream more in the winter, and I know that doesn’t make any sense, but it’s true. Maybe I just enjoy being cold. I’ve found a couple, actually! There was bound to be someone out there.

I was always a fan of cherry, myself. 

The image of you going to town a popsicle got me feelin some typa way tho. 

This works out well, it’s my least favorite. You can have all of the cherry ones that I don’t eat.

Blue is totally the best! But red is really awesome too. Oh man, I totally want some now. You could totally have them for before bed snacks though! I think the blue would go away overnight probably. Cause of something sciency with your spit. 

You’re the second person to say red, and it’s honestly my least favorite flavor! That’s alright, it just goes to show that there’s something out there for everyone. Can you imagine that much sugar before bed? It’s so unhealthy, and I have enough trouble getting to sleep sometimes. It’s a good idea, though, the...spit science. I’ll keep it in mind, but I might just stick to a toothbrush for now.

Pancakes, or sex, I guess. I suppose I managed to find the one place in Chicago that opens at seven thirty in the morning. I never did have very good luck.

Let’s just focus on the pancakes. Have you considered looking for another job? Even if it’s just another Italian restaurant; although, by the sounds of it, I’m guessing Italian food isn’t your passion.
