Those Observations are based on my personal experiences. So you'll find placements I only had in the past.
âą Venus in the Solar Return can often tell us well about our romance life, where we can find love, how will it be like this year, but also who will we have feelings for.
âą Of course, Venus in certain houses can tell us more about different part of our life. For example, Venus in the 2H can mean we can spend more money this year, perhaps into make up, fashion, or anything related to beauty. Venus in the 6H can mean you'll spend more time taking care of your beauty, skincare, perhaps also feminine reproductive system but also your diet. Etc.
âą Venus will also tell us more in the SRC with its aspects to others planets in the chart, but also where it falls in our Natal Chart. I'll explain that in another post later.
ê°àŠ Venus in the 1H à»ê±
á° Good year for a glow up. You could somehow find yourself more pretty, good looking, handsome, but you could also be seen this way. The 1H is how we present ourselves to the world, so if you find yourself more attractive, people will see it too.
á° A year where you can change your hair style, male up style, fashion. You can change your appearance into something more flattering.
á° Amazing year to take the best pictures of yours.
á° You'll look more feminine this year. You could add more pink tones to your make up or outfits.
á° Often times, this makes you very good looking, and you could attract suitors this year who also share this idea.

á° This could be a year where you could spend a lot of money on things you love. For example, a lot of shopping, a lot of spending money on hobbies, concerts, anything related to having and fun and anything you love.

á° Venus in this House can often say you'll be more vocal about romance, perhaps a year where you'll think a lot about romance in general, you can even consume romance as reading/ listening/ watching romance contents.

á° You can encounter a romance with someone who will be part of your daily life, someone you talk to everyday, a childhood friend, a close friend, or even someone who knows your family. You can also share a deep and very personal connection with this person.
á° It can be a love that feels like home, but it can also be a secret love, you can want to keep this connection private.
á° Otherwise, this could also mean having a codependency relationship, you can have a romance with someone you'll share such a deep connection with that it is hard to let go, and you could even realize being appart is extremely hard.

á° A year with a lot of different crushes! You can find yourself having a crush for the whole solar return, or perhaps more than one.
á° While this placement can work for a serious relationship if you have other placements, this often indicate more flirting, crushes, nothing as serious as Venus in the 7H.
á° Yet, Venus in this house can say you have a desire to have romance in your life. You could daydream a lot about romance, perhaps wishing to be in a relationship.

á° As expected, this placement often suggests a year where you are in love. You could feel very in love with your partner, or fall in love this year.
á° This isn't any type of love though, this is usually a placement that indicates catching feelings for someone you'll love for a while.
á° The year I had this placement, I fell in love with a classmate/ childhood friend of mine. It was the first time it happened to me. The love came slow, and it happened during the whole solar return.
á° Often, this placement is a much more serious romantic affair. Yet this can also mean you can have someone else reciprocate your feelings. Not just a one sided crush.
ê°àŠ Venus in the 8H à»ê±
á° Venus in this House will often tell us a year where you'll reflect a lot about love, and romantic connections. You can have times during the year where you'll feel like hitting therapy because of romantic connections.
á° Often, you can find yourself in connections with someone that needs therapy or healing, and it can often tell us that this connection can be healing, or very toxic.
á° You could keep your connections and romantic ones mostly quite private, you could not want to talk about what is happening there.
á° S3x can be very important in those connections, but there could also be some emotional connections, to a quite deep level.
á° Def a year where love will test your boundaries, so this is a year where you'll need to def see how far you are willing to let someone affect you. This is a placement to recall the idea of self protection, and self-boundaries, but also self-love.
ê°àŠ Venus in the 9H à»ê±
á° Venus in this House often can be seen as more spiritual. You can perhaps look at love in a more spiritual or wise way, you can become more mature when it comes to love.
á° You can have a long distance relationship during this time, but often, this can also indicate dating someone you are studying with, being at school with, but it can also be just having a crush on them as well.
á° You could experience a soulmate like love this year, or with someone you have a lot of distance with, or even someone who is quite more older than you.
á° You can look at love in a more mature way, you can even perhaps thinks a lot about relationships, and look at those in a different eye.

á° This placement suggests a romantic life that is public, therefore this can be a time where your feelings are being seen, or at least, a romantic partner is also being shown to you.

âźâË Justin Bieber was discovered in 2007 online, he had Jupiter 11H and a big stellium in his 1H that year with some fame asteroids. His 3H Ruler conjunct a lot of fame asteroids as well.
âźâË The year Justin Bieber had his first single and first album out that was the start of a huge success, he also had his 10H Ruler in 9H. The ruler also conjunct some fame asteroids. He was also Leo Rising at 17°. 1H Ruler was in the 8H, and indeed girls were obsessed with him. In general people were often obsessed with him and either loved him or hated him.
âźâË In between, in 2008, Justin Bieber had a 10H stellium, with 10H ruler in 11H. Asteroids Lumiere & Varuna were both in his 3H. Rising was at 29°. He was very popular that year still.
âźâË Hailey Baldwin Bieber started to gain popularity around 2015-2016. This Solar Return, she had Leo Rising, Varuna 29°, 10H Ruler in 3H, North Node 29°, Populus conjunct Sun.
âźâË Hailey Baldwin Bieber was more popular the Solar Return she got engaged to Justin Bieber. If we look closely on the SRC, 10H had 3 different fame asteroids, and 10H Ruler was Uranus, which was at 29°. Yet she had Neptune and Chiron 11H, she was hated on a lot.
âźâË The year Hailey Baldwin Bieber launched her Make up and Skincare brand Rhode, she had Libra MC, Ruler being Venus was in 1H. She also had Sun, Mercury in 11H.
âźâË Still on Hailey Baldwin Bieber, her most popular product for Rhode was her lipsticks, and it was very popular in 2023. She had Jupiter 10H this year, MC was at 19°, Rising at 29°.
âźâË Selena Gomez had the most success too for her make up brand Rare Beauty in 2022-2023 (still today too), and in this SRC of 2022-2023, she had a 10H Stellium in Leo with Sun, Mercury, Varuna, Part of Fortune. She was Libra Rising as well, with some Fame asteroids conjuncting the rising.
âźâË Sabrina Carpenter has a stellium in 1H this year, and I'm not shocked because she is very talked about. People give her a lot go attention in general. Moreover, this stellium also indicates her being seen as very beautiful, a beauty icon.
âźâË The year BTS made their debut, Jungkook was on his SRC of 2012-2013. He had Jupiter conjunct 10H, it was also in 10H. Despite good fame asteroids being present in this house, his 10H ruler was in 12H, it wasn't seen much.
âźâË BTS had a huge success with DNA era, and it was in 2017. On this SRC of Jungkook, we can see he had Leo MC, so also Scorpio Rising. He had a stellium in 10H, with Sun, Mercury & Mars, but also Jupiter 11H. Additional, but Jungkook also had Varuna 9H, and that's the year BTS got more attention (than before) in foreign lands.

The short answer is:
You read both â but not equally. And the chart itself tells you which one is more prominent.
The cusp sign still matters, even if itâs at the very end of the sign
The cusp is the âentrance pointâ of the house. It describes how the energy of that house begins operating.
Even at 29°, the sign is still the sign. Aries is still Aries; Libra is still Libra.
But a cusp at 29° works differently than a cusp at 10°.
A cusp at 1° works differently than a cusp at 24°.
A late degree (28°â29°) feels like:
