But I will say, as much as I despise Fear, there is some level of satisfaction to watching them run. I personally enjoy the hunting and tracking more than the chase but there is some enjoyment of just . . . They do the ASL sign for “pounce.” you know?

It’s less feeling powerful and more knowing they’re getting their punishment.

What was that strange sound from the table . . ? It sounded like teeth sinking into something meaty . . .

The head is chewing on its intestines, spooled in a tangled mess before it. The blood starts to drip off the table, and her eyes go wide. She shakes with horror, her throat and mouth visibly heating up as she tries to hold it back.
