Out of morbid curiosity, what is the evil fox fic lmfao??
It's a Kolvina Mary Sue/Gary Sue fanfic that did insane damage to that ship as a whole for me for a while. Its called The Vixen & The Fox. It's a time travel fic with some insane racism and homophobia laced in there. <3
THE BEAR (2022 - 2026) 5.06: Focaccia
What was Elijah's biggest crime of inaction?
Having the Salvatores kill Abby or Bonnie
Watching Klaus kill Jenna after promising protection
Letting Klaus kill Katerina's whole family for *checking notes* not dying
Everything with Celeste
Letting Hayley stay cursed w/o asking any other witch 4 help (he asked ONE omg)
mind y'all. davina met and actually liked jackson more than she did elijah. but WHATEVER.

quick, if you had to pick a a teen wolf character and a tvdu character to switch, who would they be? (and who would you ship with them, for flavor)
Almost said Tyler and Scott but they would just be mistreated in each other’s verse, too. I think it’s be fun if Bonnie and Stiles switched places. Bonnie and Scott would be good for each other annnnd I’m not too concerned about Stiles surviving in TVDU. I believe he could do it.
The only downside is I am an enemy of the “Stiles is a Mikaelson” trope so I would specifically need him to be unrelated to anyone!! He can just grow up with them. Or, he can be a Salvatore. Zach’s son.
Would I ship Bonnie and Stiles? No. Bonnie/Scott and Stiles/Jeremy? Well, yes.
This is you
YES! it almost ruined one of the best tvdu ships for me 😭
i fear we let damon’s later sex pest actions blind us to the truth. he did not assault katherine. rather, katherine was the sex pest of that era.
What is your middle name?
The name of one of my parents
The name of a relative or ancestor
The name of a friend of a parent
My mother's maiden name
A religious figure's name
Just a name my parents liked
Other
I don't have a middle name
I'm Option #1: My middle name is my mom's name. But I'd like to know if that practice is very common or not.
“I know this woman who was canonically being abused by her husband alongside her kids was a victim too but I can’t believe people can acknowledge her as a victim AND as a bad mom. They must be saying she’s a good mom!”
what if we all go to fucking bed omfg

genuinely not trying to start anything but i saw your lily posts and now your tags. and i need to understand the thought process. how do you get to "justified" for a woman who knew giuseppe was beating damon and did nothing. who faked her death and left both her kids with that man. who spent a century plus playing house with the heretics while her actual sons thought she was dead. she told damon she'd given up hope for him. to his face. she worked with kai which is the direct reason elena is in a coffin. she kidnapped caroline. valerie told her what julian did to her and her unborn baby and lily still chose julian. that was her grandchild. and her grand sacrifice at the end accomplished literally nothing because the ripper virus plan was already in motion. i'm not saying she wasn't a victim of giuseppe too but victim and good mother are different words. what am i missing
reading is fundamental. flora infamously calls lily a bad mother. so idk where this “victim and good mother are two different things” narrative comes into play but perhaps fact check before we pull out the pitch forks.
Regarding the Datherine Scene. I don't think the transcript shows that Damon grabbed/pressured Katherine although it has been years since I watched it so perhaps I don't remember it correctly. Perhaps someone has the video?
Most people are (surprisingly, to me) voting yes but I did look for the scene. I don't see Damon forcing himself on her? Their initial kiss is Damon surprising her (which, based off of other flashbacks, seems to be the norm with how Katherine approaches guys and sets up that dynamic) and then Katherine pulls away. She walks a couple steps, he takes a couple steps. Damon kisses her hand, she pulls away and then he doesn't move. She compels him after that. People can watch it themselves and see, though! I have the video linked to the exact timestamp.
Who knew the most gentle version of Esther as a mother?
Her oldest son who became a protector and secret keeper for her
Her second son who is the most similar to her
Her middle son who is the child of the only man who gave her TLC
Her fourth son who is functionally a male version of her sister
Her youngest son whose loss pushed her to the brink of defying nature
Which mom had the best circumstances to explain or "justify" her being a bad mom?
Esther Mikaelson
Abby Bennett
Lily Salvatore
Kelly Donovan
Esther caused the most harm!
She made the deal with Dahlia because she was too stupid/afraid to do the spell herself after she left Dahlia although they promised to stick together.
She gave Freya away and lied to Mikael about it, making him bitter.
Cheated on Mikael and told him Niklaus was his while at the same time suppressing Niklaus strength, making him 'too weak' in Mikaels eyes.
Esther did not protect her children from Mikael.
Esther did the immortality spell despite the warnings, essentially stripping all her children of a future/choice (rip Tatia, whom Elijah would have never harmed if he hadn't been a vampire).
Bound Niklaus werewolf side despite his pleas, using blood from the already deceased Tatia...
You: why didn't Esther tell the violent cruel man who already beat Klaus bloody over and over that she cucked him, why did she do everything possible to prevent him from knowing the truth of Klaus's conception, an event that happened shortly after they arrived in a completely isolated community where Esther's only help would come from MIKAEL'S community, as the show established that she was at BEST the formerly enslaved girl that Mikael married while Mikael is the rich landowner. Why didn't she just run away? Oh, to where? Well. She could stay with the local indigenous people. I know that she didn't speak their language and, sure, I don't know what tribes they were and how welcoming they would be, but I’m positive that she could have made it work. And SURE she was canonically dedicating herself to relearning magic—a skill she gave up because her violent husband wanted her to and hated her magic, nevermind that we have no idea how young she was when she was captured—to get Freya back, but I also think she should have fought Dahlia at the time despite having NO CHANCE at winning, she should have let Dahlia deliver on her promise to take Finn and Elijah too. Actually we should all trust Dahlia, a proven unreliable narrator who believes that Freya was treated kindly, when she says that Esther's life was lovely and beautiful even while they were both enslaved and that bad things only ever happened to Dahlia. Esther is a woman who might have all the hallmarks of an abused one but she's definitely not! Why? Well because I've decided that she's worse than the abusive man who ruined all their lives of course! Also I'm not a misogynist :( it hurts my feelings when you imply that, I just think it's a bad thing that she did by not magically fucking Mikael into being a better and less violent person. She really should have been faithful to him—how could she not find a man who was abusive to her and her children sexually attractive?
Also you:
is this the vixen and fox author omfg

Dont forget that Damon tried to (not sure if it can actually counts as SA) force himself on Katherine in 1864 as well. After the Founders Ball (2x04) he followed her and caged her. She had to compel him to leave her alone
Hmmmmmmmm. Let's let the people decide, because I mostly forgot about this. I don't necessarily consider it that but I'm open to other interps.
Do you consider this to be Damon forcing himself on Katherine?
Yes
No
If Stefan had been taken with Klaus and Rebekah in the 1920s, how long before Rebekah would've gotten daggered?
1-5 years.
5-10 years.
10-20 years.
20-30 years.
Longer than that.
