Found my first female directed Radiance film out in the wild. Its Mika Ninagawa's Sakuran which is fine. I wish it was her Helter Skelter but unfortunately that movie does not exist much like Goncharov.

Just finished Sakuran and it was awesome. She's actually also adapted xxxHolic so I had to watch that as well.

Actually the distributor is NOT Radiance. Its 88 films. They just have an extremely similar style of box art.

Im sure someone else pointed it out as well but it gives male actors an incredible amount of dignity and safety to be able to use CGI instead of conform to high standards for muscles. Female actors have never been allowed CGI to meet the standards the industry has for them regarding size, and its much more dangerous to lose weight than gain muscle mass.

And like thats the thing about all these "as a woman you need protein" and "as a woman you should lift" and "women need to x" I cant help but see it as yet ANOTHER fucking thing to keep track of and feel shitty for failing at.

Ive been experiencing urinary problems for a week now and doctor response as usual has been hilarious. They early diagnosed a UTI despite me warning twice that it felt nothing like a UTI. It wasnt a UTI after both urgent care and ER checked but for some reason Im told I "should still finish my antibiotics." So then they did a bladder scan and a CT scan and found fuck all so they prescribed something that turns my pee into iodine and "numbs my bladder." I tried to ask what that would mean and what it would be for and the doctor just kind of tried to leave the room several times. Everyone I met in the ER and urgent care kept nervously asking "have you asked your gyno?" Like, what's she got to do with this? And why cant YOU look? Do the non-gyno doctors just skip vagina day or something?

So I spoke with my gyno and I have a yeast infection but considering no one looked at it before directing me to take antibiotics its unclear if the issues are caused by yeast or the yeast caused by antibiotics. Lol.
