I forgot that many people were following me.

The thing that I find so exhausting about "if the roles were reversed" is that the roles will NEVER truly be reversed. There is too great a difference between a man doing something, his motivations, his capabilities, and a woman doing something with her motivations and capabilities. Fundamentally a woman breaking a restraining order to show up at her ex's wedding will never be the same threat as a man doing the same. Not when women commit only 10-20% of violent crimes and carry guns at half the percentage men do. Not when the average man can overpower the average woman.

Also the dinner party thing reminds me of the time I saw a cute recipe on Instagram calling for surimi saying it was cheap and easy and all the comments were absolutely ripping into this woman that if she thinks IMITATION CRAB is cheap then she's out of touch and rich. Imitation crab is 3.99 a pound! cheaper than both ground beef and boneless skinless chicken breast. Yes there is a reality where some people cant afford any meat but its no where near a common enough problem to be ripping a woman to shreds over unless your criteria for cheap recipe is thin gruel only.

Just jumping off the mention where I got called rich, rich at work for contributing 50 bucks to buy diapers... one of my coworkers who always complained about being broke literally just dropped 5000 on a gaming rig. Like I genuinely think people either dont know how to budget or just feel so guilty for not spending on others they tear people who do down.

McKays rejecting all 3 of my 2nd wave trade-ins feels less like a marketability issue and more personal. Especially when they clearly threw the books back into the basket irreparably damaging one.

Trying to figure out why hard to be a god and on the silver globe are so similar.

I understand the gym is not a library but like do men HAVE to stand in groups of 5 and scream at each other about how much better they are than some other guy and how they're in the best shape of their lives? Im trying to read about syphilis over here.

Slowly coming to terms with the fact that if Tuberculosis is going to be my fave disease then Im going to have to read Everything is Tuberculosis eventually.... or I could just pick a new favorite disease.
