Hey guys, today is March 12th. Thus it's the 21st anniversary of the first time Cosmo ever debuted on television (Specifically in France). While I don't have as much of a big thing for CHZ for it compared to starting Cosmic Rush. This should still be special enough since it just happened to get complete at around this time.

Months back I made a request for Sonic X music over any DLC Album tracks in the game and a kind modder named Elfy/FriedYams was nice enough to fulfill it. Even going the extra mile of giving players full choice of what DLC albums they want to replace the songs with.

There's also an optional choice to include a Shining Road snippet over Sage's Grand Prix victory theme that's meant to complement MurfyDaMurfi's Cosmo alpha build mod (Keep in mind two things however: This also replaces regular Sage's victory theme and if you have any other victory theme mods, menu, or monster truck sound mods it will likely conflict. Unless you can manually mod in the victory theme to be packed in with those, you'll have to mind that this the only thing it changes is the victory theme for Sage)

So uh, I got on Sakurai's wild ride this weekend and it sure has been addicting. (It's also a big reason why the Spongebob festival response over on CHZ isn't going to get in time for the end of that festival, sorry ^^'). But just earlier today I dabbled into the customization features. And I made 3 vehicles and put them as available in the machine market. Based on Cosmo, Tails, and the Blue Typhoon!

Wellll, it's kind of impossible to make the Rosoideae as I envision it without going into custom modding (It'd have to have one big rosebud like design at the front to get it exactly). But I have made two different Cosmo boards in the game that I might as well share.

First one here is an edit of the blue star that follows a similar design philosophy to the Cosmobile with the white 'dress' at the front.

The Sonic X logo is from a mod pack that replaces the course decals with many Sonic logos. If you have the steam version, it replaces the Sweet Mountain decal. When you're playing online. The decal will be sweet mountain to others unless they happen to have the same mod you do. (If you have a console version though feel free to ignore it)

And for the back of it, simply 3 circles shaped into ovals to represent her amulet and then rotated around until they fit the two spikes on the blue star that can represent her rosebuds. I won't lie, I have also been using extreme gears more then the cars and this is no doubt what I've used the most.

Just in case you want to look at a different design though even though I prefer the Blue Star one. Here's an edit of the Sakura board (AKA Amy's board from Zero Gravity that's an unlockable after you've played Race Park enough times)

Just spreading the word on the sites I'm active on that there is currently a request on the Sonic Racing Crossworlds section of Gamebanana that requests a modder to place Cosmo (to be precise, J.C. Thornton's model) over either Blaze the Cat or Blaze's AI Racer skin (That you earn via the friendship part of the game).

I do not have a Gamebanana account myself, so I'm unable to add much to the bounty of over 1,600 pts at the time I posted this. But I hope to reach any people who do happen to have Gamebanana accounts that can help this bring further incentive to a modder before it expires on the 3rd of November.

And even if most people who see this also don't have Gamebanana accounts. I also want to make sure more Cosmo fans know of the request's existence, so it can be seen how many people fulfilling the request would be made happy by it being fulfilled. Which also might provide good incentive to a potential modder.

Well Crossworlds is coming out soon (Or well, it's already out if you either broke street date, got a review copy, and/or bought the digital deluxe edition). As it turns out I may actually get Crossworlds not long after launch but it may not be until a day or 2 after.

Regardless, I couldn't help but notice people seemed to like my Cosmobile edited from the Whirlwind Sprint from this post (As well as featured in CHZ, here). So I thought it'd be a good idea to show how I made it.

I actually had to recreate it myself when the single player demo. The original from the post I linked is sadly gone to the ether since of course the network test is over. But I think I got a very close lookalike on the PC demo that will be able to transfer to the full game once I do get it. I think the main thing that is different is I don't think the wheels I used in the network test was there for the demo so I had to make do with a different set. If there are other details that are different from the original it's small.

COLOR SCHEME

Use these colors if you want to be exactly like the machine above. Although if you want your own personal taste involved feel free to change it up. Maybe you want a lighter green what's shown. Or a different seat color. Whatever you so wish!

White Triangle Pattern 3 (Closest you can get to her petal dress, especially if you rotate it around)

Red Circle (To shape into an oval for her amulet)

Yellow Wing 8 (Meant to be sort of the yellow edges of her shirt and/or the general golden jewelry see has around her rose buds)

REAR

Light skin colored Semicircle (Meant to be her face in a way. Can't exactly stack decals on top of each other so eyes aren't possible. Though even if we could, only four decals is still rather limited. Her eyes are instead represented by the seat and wheel color)

THE COSMOBILE'S READY TO RACE!

A year ago Cosmic Heart Zone launched with the pilot comic that started it all! It has surely been a joy for me to bring you all best fox boy and best plant girl content for you all. And with CHZ's current scope there's still plenty more that can be taken!

Crossworlds comes out soon, though as I warned before there is a good chance I'm not in any rush to get the game on launch (Unless I get a boost of spendable money on my birthday on the 9th next month) but I do have ideas related to it after it launches. And who knows when we get our first sneak peak at whatever the Frontiers 2 (Or whatever it's called, it might be a different title but carry over Frontiers style) ends up being like next year or so.

Anyhow, I'd also like to give some news that Cosmic Heart Zone will now have a 3rd mirror for it's content. On Archive Of Our Own! Everything is put in a series and will probably be the best way to view the blog in the order that they came out in. Without having to scroll down the archive on Tumblr or the CHZ section of my DeviantArt page.

Just wanted to get it out there that I wanted to get into big dates coming up for CHZ in the next two months

Aug 18th - 1 Year anniversary of CHZ's launch

Currently don't have anything special planned although I'm thinking about finally showing the blog to the Tails' reddit. Just for one post though, in terms of reddit it will stay on only the Save Cosmo subreddit. I don't intend to try to promote much further then that though. Like showing it to the general Sonic the Hedgehog reddit would be a bit much I feel.

I think highlighting something featuring Cosmo should have most relevance with fan spaces for Tails. I'd prefer mainly exposure to those who like Tails as much as I do, but not trying to get a huge influx from the full Sonic fandom. Though it's not like I can stop any fans of the blog who want to promote it to places. I did think about showing CHZ early on to the Tails reddit. But I decided on waiting until it had a significant amount of content to show. And a year's worth of updates including a full fledged story from March to July I think certainly counts.

Sep 9th - My Birthday

Not necessarily anything I need to do on my part but in case anyone wants a date to perhaps prepare gift art or anything else that can be shown on the blog if you'd like. Only if you want to though, I'm not going to beg for it or anything

Sep 10th - Cosmo's 'Bloom Day'

The launch of Cosmic Rush was on Cosmo's 'Seed Day' which accompanied her first ever debut in France. While this day was her debut in the US 20 years ago. Someone had already brought up making some sort of surprise party image. But in case others have more ideas to think about, feel free to give their own idea.

Sep 25th - Sonic Racing Crossworlds release date

Now here's the thing, I'm probably not getting Crossworlds on launch unless maybe I get a boost of money for my birthday (Or if someone's nice enough to gift me the game on Steam at that point). So I don't know if I can do too much for the week the game releases. But I do want to see all the rival interactions that are in the base game between the Sonic characters. Because I am heavily thinking about doing short comics where I imagine what CHZ Cosmo would say to each one before a race. Cause in the CHZ verse, it's going to act like as if she's an active playable character as with any other Sonic game since the first Sonic Adventure. As much as we all probably wish she actually was/could be in the game for real.

Thought I'd go ahead and give a quick one on Marowakky's suggestion about the status of Cosmic Rush.

The good news is I feel like I'm close to fully envisioning how the rest of the story goes and if all goes well, we're maybe around or at least close to 4-6 chapters from the end...

...The bad news is I'm admittedly in a pickle where I'm unsure about how to execute it as of yet.

I hope to at least have a finished Chapter 7 before the Switch 2 and Mario Kart World comes out.

But I feel I'm at a place where I'm both close to knowing how I want to end it but at the same time clueless on how to execute it exactly. There are some story beats I have had set in stone from as far back as conceptualizing this story. But I'm completely unsure if I can execute it all on my own.

The funny thing is once again you coincidentally asked when I'm quite close to putting up the next part (Tomorrow or Thursday) lol

Although I will give a heads up that the next part is not a continuation of the X part of the story. It's a continuation of CHZ Blaze, Tails, and Cream's search across the multiverse for CHZ Cosmo. After this one though I plan to do mostly the X story from then on. There will be one more intermission chapter (At least that's what I like to call them) that's about the CHZ crew searching for Cosmo but that will be when things are almost wrapped up for CHZ Cosmo's side of the story
