Is Tom ever going to break a willow wish for Harry- maybr something along the line of "i wish he loved me more than anyone else"? I dont think so- he is more the sort to go- 'i wish he were mine alone' or, 'i wish he didn't look at anyone else but me' and something equally horrible that the poor willow would have to twist itself sideways to grant.
No, he is never the sort to go for something like that because that wouldn't be a challenge. It's the same as going for an imperio or a love potion and tom wouldnt want to lose a challenge .. actually, come to think of it, he isn't the sort to love harry from the sidelines. He will manipulate, mansplain his way into harry's love
He will probably do something that he cant get normally without a supernatural entity. Things like -'i wish to rule the world' or 'i wish death were to never touch me' - we are going the route of a non magical au btw. And i can see where that would be a horror. For instance imagine him wishing death would nevee touch him. And a car that was about to hit him, would go up the sidepath and crash into a house or bystanders instead. A fire would break out but it would burn an entire mall and skip him. A normal person would go mad with guilt and tom would probably love his super power, unless of course something happens to harry. Tom is the sort to research the shit out of things anyway so i cant see him doing it
The true horror would happen if harry were to break it. He would do it impulsively too.
Imagine him saying- 'i wish tom would leave me alone'
And tom would. The willow wouldnt let him see harry, visit harry, talk to harry, call harry. But tom cant leave him alone.. he cant.. so he would stalk him from afar, drop into his house at night, when harry is sleeping. If harry doesnt know he is there.. then, then it doesnt count, right?
Why would harry do such a thing? Why would harry make him- and it must be him- tom wouldnt ever leave harry.. for harry never said anything about his love, his desire, his desire to monopolize, to consume the boy bones and all.
He can't even touch him anymore.
Tom fights through and the willow twists and twists and that love turns into resentment, into unforgiving obsession and-
