Hello chat, I implore you to consider. Purple feeling unsafe when sleeping alone but even more unsafe when sleeping around the CG and Mango for a long while. She is so so traumatized there is NO way she would be okay with letting herself be so vulnerable with them. Anyone can do ANYTHING when she's asleep and she might not be able to wake up fast enough to stop it.
And now, consider again: Purple's sense of safety around them growing bit by bit until one day, without any prompting or pleading, she just. Takes a nap on the CG's couch. She just closes her eyes and conks out by accident for like an hour or two. And they leave her be, because 1, she's cute like that, 2, they've gotta know about her sleep issues by now. And when she wakes up completely safe and being only a little teased for it, she starts doing it more. She starts coming over for sleepovers and stuff. She starts loosening up more than she was already, just because they've proven themselves safe to sleep around. Because they didn't do anything to her when she messed up that first time, and continued not doing anything to her every other time. She's woken up to one or more of them napping with her, even. And one day, she wakes up to find Mango there, having come over to pick her up while she was asleep and listening to the others when they told him not to wake her up.
And they wake her up from nightmares. And they calm her down afterwards. And they remind her where she is, who she's with, when she wakes up confused about those things. And she suffers less and less, thanks to them being kind about it.
