I suppose the festival is going to be Christmasy in some capacity or another, so I drew Noelle in one of the myriad of Christmas sweaters I know she has. And Noelle in a braid cuz she has to look cute for the date Susie has no idea she’s on to the festival~

In trying to figure out what Berdly would wear to the festival, some friends suggested that Berdly dressing up would wear a polo with a fake print tie (same green from his dw design) with Cargo shorts and I’m afraid its canon.

From the paneling, it almost looks like Kagiura looks back at the ground or the tray. But maybe only for a split second. An impulse to avoid his eyes. But he looks back up and he STARES. And he keeps staring as they pass by each other and then Sasaki stares back and acknowledges him before he does. And he's SURPRISED by it. Dawg. Good NIGHT. MY STOMACH HURTS

I know WHY it is. Kagiura kind of internalizes everything he reacts to, and one of those things is his jealousy of one of Hirano's close friends that he takes care of PLENTY and has known longer than Kagiura (hello sshr), but ever since ch. 24, the fact of the matter is, even if its self-inflicted and self-conscious and not at all personal, Sasaki makes Kagiura nervous. Sasaki makes Kagiura nervous.

I think i might pass away. Like. Ultra polite Kagiura freezes when he sees Sasaki and takes way too long to react. Because he let his jealousy be expressed outwardly and now he's so conscious of being around the subject of it. He's likely afraid it will come out again. And/or he just doesn't know how to appear around someone he doesnt know that he KNOWS hirano is close to despite his own words and that hes jealous of. How should he be around Sasaki? Right now his automatic response is "deer in the headlights". Sasaki's acknowledgement snapped him out of that stupor. But what gets me is that Kagiura very much kept on looking at him. Like if Sasaki hadn't acknowledged him he woulda just stared anyway. He was completely entranced by his conflict surrounding Sasaki he genuinely didn't know what to do in this moment but stare. Bro. They didn't even exchange WORDS. I am EATING THE CURTAINS. I'M CRUNCHING ON A WINDOW PANE. WHAT THE HELL

They're so in love with other people bc if I was either of them coming down the hallway seeing the other looking like THAT I wouldve PISSED MY PANTS. I think theyre canonically the most attractive guys in the cast. They're having a mog-off. Sasaki mastered the half-lidded stare and Kagiura's hips don't lie

Lemme stop reading too much into the two pages and now just talk purely out of my ass. Bc ik Sasaki canonically is all like "yeah imma stay out of that one" per Hirano's weird ass relationship with his weird ass unsettling ass roommate but I wonder if Sasaki late in the night could be staring up at his ceiling and think of The Expression that Kgiura gave him That Day and get chills. And I'm almost certain he thinks of Kagiura sometimes. Even if he blocks his name out of his system... mostly. He does bc he left him that grad message. And he knows his sport (kinda hard to forget tbh) and asked about him that One time. Yes I still think about that. (Calling him kagi-kun was pretty diabolical I'll say. Not surprised he knows him by that bc Hirano is always yapping away about him. I bet Hirano forgot Kagiura's full name too at this point 😭). But what was going through his mind when he saw kagiura in the hallway. That he looked like a lost puppy? DUMMY. Probably.

Bro. I'm not one about the order of the names as an expression of dynamics/roles but sasakagi being SASAKAGI is SOO IMPORTANT... Kagiura's impulsive ass could use someone just as insanely and insatiably hungry as he is im just saying anyway more at 11... I'll talk about this in depth later...
