To be honest with you -- If Ponder came out tommorrow and said that she apoligizes for everything Chuuli said she supposedly did -- I would think she was gaslit into believing that stuff happened and that she was responsible for everything bad that ever happened to Chuuli. Because it's not true that Ponder is to blame for Chuuli being groomed by Kayden or Avi. And it's not Ponder's fault that Chuuli could have hypothetically been groomed by Spoctor because Chuuli asked for Spoctor to be let back into the server. ( Meaning, there was already a way for Chuuli to interact with Spoctor outside of Ponder's server )
I don't think Ponder should be held responsible for what Chuuli's groomers did to them. That's unfair. Ponder was simply Chuuli's friend who happened to be older. ( Chuuli had a way to contact Spoctor outside of the Friends server run by Ponder and did contact him outside of the server. )
Teenagers and younger people always pin blame for things that happen onto the older people and that's not fair.
Chuuli believes that when an Older person '' chooses '' to befriend a teenager , they become responsible for them.
Your older friend is not responsible for keeping you safe. That's your parents' job. That's the person who is paying and allowing you onto the internet's job.
As a teenager -- your parents, teachers, and older cousins/siblings should be giving you the tools to protect yourself on the internet.
It's not the responsibility of some unrelated adult on the internet who was idiotic enough to befriend you when you were a teenager
Chuuli telling this to young people is dangerous.
That is literally how kids end up getting groomed: BY TRUSTING ADULTS ON THE INTERNET.
You can not trust adults on the internet to have your best interests at heart 100% of the time. Unlearn this idea immediately.
I was taught this from a early age but : DO NOT ENTER PRIVATE DMS WITH AN ADULT.
If an Adult is acting extremely familiar with you and flirting with you -- stop typing and report this to the admin of the server or discord or whoever is the moderator of the forum you're in.
