Problematic middle child, aristocratic menace, and posh party boy who took it a step too far and found himself exiled from his safe, protected homeland and into the apocalyptic wastelands of the Endless Night just outside.

Its okay though…they’ll take him back…

…surely.

Phantom of the Opera - Representation Matters

I don’t have any specific quotes to underline that claim, but it sounds very accurate. He seems much enthralled by her, and probably even more so as she brought his sequel visions to life. He was furthermore the one to invite her to be Christine at the 25th RAH anniversary. But to be fair, he’s one on many who seems to love her as a performer and person. She seems much loved by all co-players as well as the creative team. She just has that quality.

Because there are so many people interested in the Portuguese performances, I decided it’d be a good idea to share a clip of the other Phantom, FF (also featuring the other Raoul!). So, here’s “All I Ask of You (Reprise)”, from the November 24, 2019 performance in Lisbon, Portugal (final one!). This is a concert version of POTO, sung exclusively in English.

Warning: Someone in the area I was sitting thought it was alright to sing along to some songs during Act 1 so, sometimes, a 3rd voice can vaguely be heard, mainly during “The Phantom of the Opera”, “Music of the Night” and “All I Ask of You”. Thankfully, the instrumental and the cast’s voices overpower theirs so the audio is still alright. They were also warned and did not do it during Act 2, with brief exceptions.
