In Spanish there's a joke that says: "Ayer choqué a un Obi-wan Kenobi"

It translates literally as I crashed into Obi-wan Kenobi, and it only makes sense in Spanish bc Kenobi it's pronounced the same way as "Que No Vi", which would make the joke "I crashed into an Obi-wan I didn't see"

It's like a star wars dad joke... I swear it's funny

Saw The Backrooms yesterday, and I fear I an simply too stupid to understand the greater story that the movie was trying to tell LMAO. But even so, I still had a good time. 👍

Guys im watching Heated Rivalry with a guy friend via phone call, and he is having the most INSANE takes. For example:

"Theres no way you were gonna convince me that this guy was straight with a name like ILYA" because apparently Ilya just sounds like a gay name

and on the flip side

"Ain't no way this Scott guy isn't homophobic" because apparently any white guy named Scott is homophobic because the name itself is homophonic (his justifications you ask? apparently every Scott he's ever known was homophonic)

And mind you, we've only watched the first episode. Am looking forward to his reaction to Scott's episode lol.

And as a bonus, when Shane told Ilya to not kiss him because anyone could be watching, he goes "He says, while staring longingly into his eyes" which just made me CACKLE lmao.

Naturally, this leads to Obi-Wan acquiring a feral, still-chipped Cody and dragging him across the galaxy on his various misadventures.

Cody, meanwhile, is relentless. Every possible opportunity is a murder attempt. Blaster shots, ambushes, trying to push Obi-Wan off cliffs, sneaking poison into his food—anything.

Obi-Wan, however, remains entirely unbothered.

Cody fires at him? Obi-Wan deflects the bolts and smiles softly like he has just been written a haiku.

At one point, Cody lunges at Obi-Wan with a vibroblade in front of Bail. Obi-Wan smoothly disarms Cody in a single motion, lightly holding Cody’s wrist as he sighs and says, blushing faintly,”Not in front of Bail, dear one,” like it’s foreplay.

This whole situation is so utterly baffling to Cody that it basically short-circuits his chip.

The moment Cody’s free Obi-Wan’s getting shaken within an inch of his life,“YOU KRIFFING DI’KUT, I WAS NOT FLIRTING! I WAS TRYING TO KILL YOU!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK FLIRTING IS?!”

Obi-Wan blinks at him, completely thrown. “…Oh. So you don’t like me.”

Cody makes a strangled noise that’s somewhere between a yell and a groan. “YES, I LIKE YOU, YOU DI’KUT!”

obi-wan kenobi only looks like a respectable, even-tempered rule-follower because he's standing next to Anakin "what are rules" Skywalker and Ahsoka "i know the rules but i don't give a shit" Tano. the moment he's alone, and not being forced to keep anyone in check, he is JUST as chaotic as the other two, if not more because he DOES know the rules and he DOES give a fuck so the fact that he's breaking them means he REALLY wants to ruin someone's day

Chat I recently watched Heated Rivalry to see what all the hype was about, and OMG it was so GOOD! Like I am literally in awe about how good the two main actors were like my eyes were GLUED to that screen.

And I gotta say that my favorite episode was probably Hunter, because omg Scott and Kip are so cute they have my whole heart, I just wish that we had some more episodes of them.

But anyways, currently looking for fic recommendations, so pls drop your favorites for me to read!

Anyone know what happened to the author Anonymous_Radish on AO3? They wrote one of my favorite ever Codywan fics "Everybody Lives - But No One Makes It Out Alive" and I was so sad to see it was deleted out of my bookmarks.

(Luckily I had an epub of the fic already dowloaded, if anyone wants a copy lmk)

Like even there account was deleted and everything, which sucks cause I was so invested in that fic and wanted to see it finished (*T^T)

Any insight is appreciated!
