still she haunts me

“i wouldn’t mind that,” she chuckles, before shifting the girl laying on her to a sitting position. “come on,” she gets up and practically drags the girl along with her to only lay on her queen size bed after throwing several stuffed animals off of it and pat the bed beside her. “i’m the big spoon. lay down,” she says, wanting nothing more than to cuddle with her angel.

           “i’m missing the movie now, you’re distracting me.” eunmi giggles softly, petting the girl’s hair gently, it soothing her probably as much as it was soothing the other. “don’t you want to just go cuddle in my bed? it’s warm, and we can bring snacks, i’ll be the big spoon.” she chuckles, eyes curling into tiny smiles.

asti understood what it was like to be mocked, even if most of her torment had come from her own sister. that wasn’t a pain cycle she was ever going to continue, even if val had told her that she was hiding a third arm. “ okay. don’t feel bad, then. it’s better to be safe than sorry. ” staying home was at least safer than going out even if fate happened to be chasing them, eliminating a lot of possible dangers. she sat herself next to val in her dress still, trying to get geared up for a night in instead. “ we can still have fun. but — can i borrow a sweater, or something ? i didn’t bring my nightshirt. ”

rushing around all day all katherine wanted to do was to sit on her sofa, put her feet up and watch something…anything she could find on netflix. she was well into that til it clicked in her that she had completely forgotten to go down to the lobby and check if she had any mail. normally it wouldn’t matter, but she had a parcel coming and her being like a lot of other people she checked her post everyday to see if it had came. today she forgot. she had a lot of things on her mind so it was understandable how it slipped her mind. she couldn’t just sit here and leave it til tomorrow because she knew if she did she would be wondering the whole time if it was there or not. groaning she pulled herself off from the sofa and slipped on her slippers and zipped up a hoodie. she was only popping downstairs and back up. grabbing her keys she left her apartment and as she walked out she was instantly caught the sight of her neighbour sitting on the floor opposite her. katherine had to admit it took her off guard for a moment. katherine hadn’t been living in this building for too long so she hadn’t had much of a chance to get to know anyone around, but living right opposite each other herself and the girl on the floor have had some kinds of interactions. ❝ that’s okay. ❞ glancing up to her closed neighbours door and back down she smirked. ❝ have you been sent out here for time out by your roommate or are you locked out ?? ❞ as she spoke katherine closed up her door behind her and lent back on it as she looked down at her.

“But your back is going to hurt and don’t get mad at if that happens.“ The girl’s demeanor reminded her when she was younger– Often finding the sun’s warmth in her mother’s embrace and she wondered if hers could be the same. “And I am not going to offer you massages just so you know.” Her eyes tried to keep on watching the screen. “Did anything happen?”

          Her confusion only becomes worse. She doesn’t know the girl yet the other acts as if the pair was supposed to meet up. Sakura has no idea how to responds, which explains why she remains silent whilst hoping to receive an explanation — which happens in the end and she can’t stop the corners of her lips from curling upwards as a smile blossoms on her face. “I.. I’m Sakura.” She finally responds before nervously sinking her teeth into her bottom lip. “Thank you.” She then adds in a soft whisper. 

                   eunmi needed sustenance, a snack, anything really but the way the girl was laying in her lap pinned her to the sofa. running slender, pink painted fingers through mack’s hair, she smiles softly. “alright, angel. but you know what size bladder i have, i’m going to have to go pee at some point.” she says, chuckling.

“I do, but I couldn’t let that pass.” He laughs, “You walked right in on it.” A smile rests on his lips, eyebrows raising before he’s nodding his head in agreement. “I guess? But if ghosts are real, they’ll make themselves known regardless if it’s dark or not.” Offers a shrug with his thoughts, “If you want to get spooked— it’d be better to go when it’s darker. Do we need gear to see or hear them? Like in the shows?” He questions, “If we’re going, might as well go all out and try to guarantee a sighting.”

minhyun’s initial anger for being abruptly woken up dimmers to a low simmer after hearing the apology. “it’s alright.” he utters out a sigh of resignation. and something in him says to scurry back to the warmth of his room instead of keeping the situation ongoing. “are you sure the person lives in these apartments. you seem kind of out of it.” which he says with the wave of his hand at her direction. her intoxicated state obvious.

“shut up,” she slightly pushed the other away in order for her to let herself in. eun told herself too many times to stop attaching herself on anyone, especially on someone like valerie, and yet again here she was at her doorstep. she threw herself on the couch, its comfort has already become familiar to her. however, this motion made her wince a little, reminding her about the mishap she faced earlier from her mother’s family. “yeah, i’m fine. a little hungry, though,” she shot a quick glance at her company before leaning her head back on one of the throw pillows.

   Woobin stayed silent throughout the entirety of your rant. It wasn’t that he was particularly interested in what you had to say, but more about how you looked when you said it. He was clearly amused by the situation. Leaning forward to inspect the picture that was displayed across the magazine, Woobin tilts his head to the side before look over at you with a slight smirk etched across his lips. “Has anyone ever told you that you have your father’s eyes?”

   It was an immature blow, he’d admit to that. Nonetheless, riling you up was one of his favorite hobbies. “Besides, why do you care about what other people think about him, huh?” Raising his eyebrows, Woobin picks the magazine up, holding it close to his face, as if it would be the quickest way to absorb all of the information. “You know what he’s really like, so why does it matter what some magazine says about him?” His words slowly became mumbled, as though he were too perplexed by the contents of the magazine to give his full attention to you. After a few seconds of silence, he faces pages of the magazine at you while grinning stupidly. “Hey, can I have this picture to hang on my wall?”

suki frowns at his comment about her eyes, not gracing it with a response except to narrow them at him in an obviously unhappy glare. she knew it was only meant to get a reaction out of her, anyway, but still. definitely not her favorite subject. 

“Kind of. Why?” He questions in turn, nodding when she provides the reason behind the sudden interest. “Is this your way of asking me to go with you?” Head tilts, brows raised before his head shakes with a chuckle. “But those are some poor choice of words— if you’re dying to see it, well—” Shoulders raise with a shrug, leaving the thought to her imagination. “We can go now if you really want to, I’m off for the day.”
