Dan got stressed over the bills, what will he and Phil do when the bills come in and will they be able to pay them, what will happen to him and Phil in the future? Will Dan still be a lawyer or will he be jobless? Will Phil still stay with him if that happens? Will he love him when years pass like he promised or will he break it as well as Dan’s heart?

Dan started to shake and he could hear and feel his heart starting to pick up its pace, will he die tomorrow or will Phil? Oh god what if Phil dies tomorrow and Dan wouldn’t be able to say goodbye, what if Phil dies in his sleep or-

“Hey, Dan are you okay?”, Phil’s soft voice interrupted his thought and Dan suddenly realised his cheeks were wet and his eyes stung

Dan sighed, “I’m just thinking”

Phil quickly sat up and soon made Dan do the same, “You shouldn’t think too much, Dan”, Phil rubbed his back

“I-I know but…”, Dan met Phil’s eyes, “What will happen to us?”

Phil frowned, “What do you mean?”

“I mean, in the future or tomorrow, what will happen?”

“Dan… we should be concerned about the future when we’re living it”, Phil answered

“But what if I lose my job?”, Dan asked and looked down at the duvet

“Then you’ll get another one”, Phil answered and kissed Dan’s forehead which made Dan close his eyes in relaxation

Dan hummed and Phil cupped his cheeks, “Don’t be worried, okay? We should be concerned and think about the present and worry about the future when it comes”

Dan nodded and Phil released his cheeks

Dan looked outside, “It’s raining”, he muttered

Phil chuckled, “Well it is London, when isn’t it?”

Dan smiled and looked at Phil, he could get lost in those eyes, and the way the moon shined on Phil made him all fuzzy inside, “I love you”

"Nu-uh", 12 year-old Phil said back, looking disappointingly at Dan which made Dan look back with the same disappointment plastered on his face

"Oh?", Dan said, folding his hands together, "Who can possibly be faster than me climbing a tree?"

"Me", Phil muttered and stopped walking and looked at the big tree he stopped in front of

Dan laughed and shook his head, "No, Phil, I'm faster than you", he stopped walking when he saw Phil stopping and walked to him

"Proof it then", Phil glared at Dan

Dan raised his right eyebrow and pointed to the tree, "Whoever reaches the top of the tree first is the fastest of them all"

"Deal"

Dan and Phil shook hands and walked to the tree, "Ready?", Dan asked and looked at Phil, who was looking back

"Ready."

And they climbed, Dan was in the lead in the first half of the tree but Phil caught up, they were side-by-side and didn't slow their pace, they reached the top at the same time but they wouldn't accept it

"I won!", Dan exclaimed when he and Phil sat down on the top branch

"No, I did!", Phil yelled and would've shoved Dan if they weren’t so high up

"Yeah right, you weren't even close, Phil", Phil shook his head

"You weren't close! I won, just accept it", Phil said and looked down, "Ummm, Dan?"

Dan sighed, "Yes, Phil?"

"Do you know how we're gonna go down?", Phil asked, nervously

"Uhhh", Dan looked down and suddenly felt like he was gonna fall, "No... do you have your phone?"

Phil shook his head, "School doesn't allow to us to be on the phone, remember? So my parents say that I shouldn't take it to school"

Dan frowned, "Mine's dead", he muttered and looked around, "Maybe we can call to the people that are walking by and ask someone to call for help?"

Phil smiled and quickly called to the old lady that was passing by and after she was shocked and panicked, she called the fire department and their parents, they thanked her and she was on her way

"Sooo... Phil", Dan said while they waited, "Have you gotten any new video games?"

Phil sighed, "No, Dan, I get one once a month and I've already gotten one this month and you know that"

"Well I'm just trying to talk to you while we wait", Dan muttered and looked down

Phil frowned, "You hate small talks", he pointed out

"But I like your voice", Dan said suddenly before he could stop himself, his face was red and quickly looked away from Phil

Phil blushed but before he could say anything, their parents arrived and quickly the fire department after

They got them down and their parents hugged them tightly, but when the fire department were gone, they quickly scolded them and they went home

That's when he heard it, probably the fifth time this week

Dan sighed and closed his laptop and put it on the night stand and made his way towards their kitchen

"Oh, I don't want a lot for Christmas, this is all I'm asking for", echoed through their house, "I just wanna see my baby, yeaaaahhh", Phil danced a little as he stirred the pancake batter and continued singing with Mariah Carey as her voice came through his speaker, "Standing right outside my door"

"Phil", Dan whined when he arrived, it was the start of October and it wasn’t even December and his boyfriend still sang Christmas songs

"Oh I just want you for my own", Phil started putting some of the pancake batter on a pan, "For my own", Phil sang and looked at Dan, "Baby"

"Phil!", Dan yelled through the speaker, it was starting to get annoying at this point

"More than you could ever know", Phil flipped the pancake successfully, "Make my wish come true"

Dan knew that no matter what he did or tried, Phil would continue, he even tried kissing Phil when he was singing and it didn't even work and all Phil did was shove him away and continued singing. So Dan should know that it's no use and he should just let Phil sing but he was not gonna give up, no, Dan would never give up

"All I want for Christmas is", Phil took the now finished pancake onto a clean disk, put another small amount of pancake batter onto the pan and turned around when he heard Dan call his name again for the third time but Phil shushed him and giggled when he saw the face on Dan when he did that, "You, baby"

And Phil kissed him as the chorus were singing the end line of the song and Dan quickly kissed back, maybe he should listen to Dan and stop singing Christmas songs when it wasn't even the month of Christmas but he couldn't just kill his Christmas spirit

When the chorus ended, Phil pulled away from the kiss and looked at Dan, but soon he smelled a burning smell and quickly looked at his pancake batter that was on the pan and it was black and burned, so he quickly took the pan and put the burned pancake on the sink and put the pan back and put another small amount of pancake batter on the pan

"That was close", Phil turned away as he said that but got a quick kiss as a response
