Down The Rabbit Hole

What is life exactly? What is my life? Now I guess that would be the correct question, but let's leave that up to you. In a normal setting, I guess I would start from the beginning telling you that I was born on a snowy wintery day in February, in the early 2000’s. This story has no beginning because when do you truly start living? Before trauma or after the trauma? 

I was a small kid, a petite little thing (Well I still am). I believed in fairies and mermaids and enjoyed coloring on flat rocks on a summer day. Still to this day I don’t know the name of that creek where I played many  years ago. In those days we gladly let our fair skin soak up summer rays. Our body’s became careless red like the heat of a fire bursting out of its seams reaching for the endless endeavours in the stars. 

I always looked up at those stars and thought about millions of possibilities dancing in the head. Some doing the Waltz, some doing the Foxtrot. What are the odds of having something fall out of the sky landing right next to me as I look up into the Universe? This shining ball that’s just out of reach is made up of thoughts and fairy tales. The ones that lure you into believing something.They believe in everything good. Vanilla, Snow, Wedding Dresses. They also believe that every night the sun sinks deeper to meet an old flame called the ocean, and in that split time they kiss each other hello and spring to life again until the next time. They are always together but never around. 

Once you are at the right time, this illusion dies off looking at the monster that lay in front and beneath us. We are opened up to a new world with a key hidden within ourselves, underneath the depths, learning and knowledge we are found and swallowed up. Pushed into this reality we aren't fitting into, we are shaped by artists, creators and destroyers. All these things we were led to believe where lies. They lied to us believing it was the best thing to do for us. In the end where did the truth from their mouth lay? People say “truth is out there” even if there isn't any, where is it? I guess even they will keep those truths trapped away with their secrets in a vault tucked beneath layers of water in the deepest sea of their brain. On this hunt to find the truth, what really is it? How are to know what is right and what is wrong from a jumbled heap of words?
