Color Theory class was mostly fun, but it had its share of tedious assignments. This one in particular I had to deal with during undergrad, and it required using an entire package of 4" square colored papers to cut various scraps and arrange them to match the colors in a photo. At least it isn't as bad as the dreaded pointillism project, which somehow I managed to get through undergrad without having to do. Dodged a bullet with that one. And as we finally wrap up the long-overdue 2017 Whitney Cosplay Series, we summon Whitney's final boss form as Sephiroth, the classic main villain of Final Fantasy 7. Or would this be Whitneyroth? Sephiwhit? Regardless, you cannot handle her! The 1080p wallpaper of this image is available exclusively to members of the Peter & Whitney Patreon. Also, I am immediately jumping into production of the 2017 print collection book, which (as always) will include a half-dozen book-exclusive cosplays featuring Peter in character alongside Whitney. And now, here is the ninth bonus image from the 2017 Whitney Cosplay series: Momo Yaoyorozu, from My Hero Academia! With a bonus Peter as Mineta, because of course I had to include him. I wanted at least two MHA cosplays for the bonuses in the 2017 series, simply because Whitney and I binged the entire series and got hopelessly hooked on it. The first was between Mt. Lady and Midnight (and Mt. Lady won), and the second was between Momo and Gravity Girl. The latter option for each will be appearing in the 2019 series roster later this year.

This is a cosplay that has been bounced around as a potential image since the start of the series in 2015. Now that it's done, I am super happy with how she turned out! Now to draw Peter as the Green Ranger, hehe.

And now, here is the seventh bonus image from the 2017 Whitney Cosplay series: Yang, from RWBY! Yes, it's now 2019 and we're just now reaching the final handful of images from the 2017 series. This is what happens when you have a baby! Whitney and I welcomed our daughter Marlena into the world this past December, and after taking a month and a half off to get into our new routine as parents, we are finally able to start comfortably producing art again. This means both Peterverse comics will resume updating again very soon, and I will be cranking out the rest of the cosplays in this series to get the long-overdue 2017 collection book printed and out the door to those who funded the original 30 (and available on Amazon for everyone who would like to buy one). And now, the sixth bonus cosplay from the 2017 series: the spirit animal of death metal, Aggretsuko! This is also a reminder that I am taking a bit of a break from this series for 2018. After doing three years of cosplays (and over 150 individual pieces), I'm shifting gears and making the 2018 cosplays a Patreon exclusive, setting a goal of at least one per month while we're getting settled into the new baby routine. This is also to give myself time to focus on other projects that are on my plate and need to get done, like the P&C Pilot. But this is just a temporary break for this year! The next Whitney Cosplay series (with the next full roster of 31 sketches) will be back in October 2019. 

Because this train was too hot not to jump aboard, here is Whitney as the latest and best non-canon Nintendo character, Bowsette! I had to wait until our new art room was finished before I could put this together, hence why I'm about a week late to the party... but dang it, that's not gonna stop me from jumping in! I couldn't resist this one, hehe. Also, I decided to make it a free 1080p wallpaper for everyone since it's not TECHNICALLY a part of the 2017 series and was just for fun as a bonus. Enjoy!
