Thoughts

I'm caught between I want to talk to you - because you make me comfortable and you make me feel wanted because of your words. You make me laugh and smile, and make the rest of the world fade for a split second.

On the other side of my feelings though I am betrayed. I am angry because - what was the point? In laughing with me and making promises that led nowhere. All of your empty words and sentiments that all too quickly became irrelevant when she messaged me.

So here I am, just stuck, trying to find ways to move forward with you against my better judgment because I'm not ready to be alone again, is that selfish of me? To keep you around purely due to my fear. That question is rhetorical, I know it is pure selfishness but is that not the treatment you deserve?
