idk who needs to hear this, though your loved ones ADORE and LOVE YOU. your mistakes do not cancel that out. you are allowed to make mistakes. full stop. doesn't matter how bad, how small, etc. they don't love you for being small, not asking for help, for taking less and giving more than you could ever take
they don't stop loving you if you don't thank them enough. they don't stop loving you if you don't say sorry for every perceived wrong or mistake. you cannot be unfailing or perfect
you are human. humans are animals. and for those of you who don't resonate with being human at all or completely, such as therians, otherkin, robots, etc? you're alive. it's normal
even robots break down, make misprints, or need maintenance. it's just how you were built. you don't need to be the newest model, or have the latest tech. you're still you. if you're still reprogramming from trauma, that's okay! you'll get there ^_^ I believe in you!
a scared dog bites. when I was 5 my family dog, our protector, the sweetest dog you could ever meet, who walked with no leash and would kiss you immediately if you got close to her... I have a scar on my hand even now as an adult, that'll never go away. from when a firework accidentally fired off real close to her. she reacted in a way normal for dogs, the way nature intended when a dog gets scared as a defense mechanism, and she bit me and drew blood. she's still loved by the family dearly, decades after she passed
many times, when I was hurt, abused, in turmoil, in so much pain... I reacted out of that pain. I lashed out horribly to those around me. hurt many people, badly even. and that wasn't all I did. I still loved, believed, made people laugh... and I got better. I believe people more when they say they love me, want to help me, see my pain...
mistakes and perfection go hand in hand. my dog biting my hand, the scar it left, is only a reminder that even the most gentle and loving dog will react out of fear and survival instincts will kick in. and it will never be that dog's fault. just like it will never be mine or yours
so please, stop blaming yourself. we can do this together 🫂☮💗🌍🌈🧿
