To say the Panama Papers accomplished nothing is an insult to Daphne Galizia’s memory. Her work, and the work of the hundreds of other journalists who contributed to the Papers, changed the world.

Disinformation like this is designed to discourage you, to make you feel you’re powerless against the monsters of the world. They want you to feel that way, because they are terrified of your power to make change.

This is Daphne Caruana Galizia. She refused to be intimidated into stopping her work, even after being sued, arrested, and threatened. Journalists inspired by her founded The Daphne Project to carry on her legacy in investigative journalism.

They downplay the discomfort and fear that women feel in public bathrooms, changing rooms in their presence and claim that "nothing actually happened".

Not to mention, statistics show only 3 out of 100 sexual assaults are actually reported. Just because an incident doesn't make headlines doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

"Demonic killings linked to alleged transgender cult members" is a Fox headline if there ever was one.

The game Six Days In Fallujah was just a straight up simulator of the US invasion in Iraq from the US perspective (as it usually goes) and the gamified reenactment was so jarring even USAian Iraq veterans found it off-putting. It was postponed and cancelled and revived and it's set to be released this year.

Games have reached the potential for realism, the budget and profit margins and the cultural impact of blockbuster productions and their contents and representation should be considered the same.
