The same Katara who was ecstatic that Aang came to save her and had faith that he would come

The same Katara who in tears and heartbroken because Aang literally left her in “The Awakening” because he felt that it was his duty to save the world by himself?

They want Katara to hate Aang so badly, because THEY hate Aang for not just letting go of his feelings and ignoring his vision of the girl he cares about in danger, and getting in the way of their fan-ship

I mean, the tags say it all, why do I always see Zutara, Anti-Kataang and Anti-Aang of all things in the Pro-Katara tag? Why do they only see Katara’s worth in the guy she ends up with?

she falls in love with aang because he doesn’t just represent hope for the world but he also gives her back her lost childhood with his whimsy. she gets to be silly and childish with him and that’s so important for her.

You didn't see the appeal when he helped her reclaim her childlike whimsy? Not when he flew into a grief stricken rage and she helped him find peace? Not when they awkwardly tried to figure out their feelings in the cave of two lovers? When aang nearly died and katara used the spirit water to bring him back and hugged him tight? When we see the childish jealousy and them throwing a party for the firebending children where they got to be free and dance?

It took a character being hot to you for you to actually see any potential in romance?

Kataang has always been a very cute romance between two kids working through their trauma and finding hope in what seems hopeless. It's endearing.

Katara teaches Tenzin how to airbend when aang is sick by guiding him through his forms based on what she's been able to observe by watching aang for decades.
