Travel and the writer are inseparable. Travel for the writer broadens his or world view. The writer is in search of new experiences that molds him or her as writer. Travel is a writer’s pen. Travel is a pen shaping the ink of the writer into a new experience. With travel time, space, and people mingle into the writer’s mind with passion. Travel opens new opportunities for the writer. One example is Gauguin who went to Tahiti and he painted impressionistic sketches of the natives there. Picasso was very much influenced by primitivism. Travel is the joy of journey of a writer.
