Having grown up in a ubiquitous fundamentalist Christian community, I have no idea how non-religious people feel about Sundays. My Sundays are just the second half of my weekend because I no longer attend church, but they still feel somewhat diminished due to the fact that I associate them with stress, religious fear, and wasted time. I’d like to know how people with secular childhoods felt about Sundays.

Ok so at my old high school there was this group of “popular” girls who got one of their group to go on a date with this one shy scrawny nerd so they could make fun of him. The plan was that she would secretly record their conversations so they could hear all the nerd’s dorkiness afterwards. The nerd took her to dinner and a movie and then went back to her place, where she took his virginity! The girls were laughing at the recordings for three straight weeks but he didn’t seem to mind.
