Consider this a 1 year tumblrversary special!!

I have DNIs but they're not like a "I hate you, leave." They're more of, "Hey... this is what my page has, so if you don't like that, this isn't for you."

My DNI is basically just saying "if you're pro-censorship, anti-fandom, and against age-regression don't interact."

I know people can and will anyway, but once again, its more to just get it out of the way that its what my page has and supports.

Any ideas :)?

I cannot tell you or anyone what to do, but in my personal opinion, I don’t think DNI will actually do anything besides make yourself a target and attract people who fit the DNI criteria. (again, this is just my personal opinion and why I myself don’t use DNI, I’m not saying “no, do not use DNI”, because it’s your account and you can do what you want).

that said, if I were to “use my own version of DNI”, I would make my stance clear in my bio or pinned post. something about me being anti-censorship and proship/profic, or maybe I’ll say “xyz will be blocked”, instead of saying “do not interact if you are xyz” because there are trolls and unpleasant people who will see your DNI list and want to “challenge” you (the nature of DNI is that it can be read as hostile, even if that’s not your intention). which is also why I say I believe DNI makes you a target — making the list of things that make you uncomfortable public, accessible to anybody and the first things strangers see when they view your profile is, in my opinion, not a good idea.

They contribute so much to this world and they are not congratulated enough.

1) one search on Ao3 is all it takes to realize that the Palestine tag is not being censored. Just one search.

2) The reason they do not allow fundraisers and donations is the same rule that existed since the site was created: You will get them into legal trouble. Ao3 is a non-profit site and has said a million times that things like commissions and paypal are a no go.
