Louisa Guy & Her Idiot Friend

From the trailers it looks like Frank’s assassin squad from Joe Country will be expanded to include Jim and Jane from Slough House.

I’m guessing David dies in ep 1 and Frank shows up at his funeral in ep 2. By that point, it’s already been established that the Slow Horses are being targeted by a hit squad. Also at some point in here, Diana fires Emma and Lamb asks for her help in figuring out what the hell is going on.

I think in ep 2, after the funeral, River returns to David’s house and finds Sid hiding out there. That’s probably how the episode ends.

By ep 3, I assume they will have established that the hit squad is indirectly Diana’s fault due to her getting tangled up with Judd/an annoying tech billionaire, Lamb will have acquired the safe house and called Blake’s grave, and Louisa will get roped back into things.

Then I assume all hell breaks loose and the scenes from the trailer of everyone getting chased and shot at and stuff exploding will begin.

I am really curious what’s happening in the scene where it looks like River and Sid are at an airfield or something with Frank and co. Idk what that could be.

I think Coe might die in the car accident shown in the trailer. I assume Emma will die in the same way as in the books. I’m not sure if they will end up choosing to poison River at the end or severely injure him some other way, but I assume the show will end on the cliffhanger of “will river survive?”

I hope Lech is in the season and they introduce Ash! Some of Lech’s scenes in book 7 are to me the funniest in the series and I’ll be a little bummed if they don’t materialize.
