Iâve never played this before! Doug is our only hope!
I always have a huge reluctance to playing Zelda games because I havenât played any of them. I donât know where to go, how to play and I have to work out puzzles for the first time in addition to my handicap!
People in chat have been really great & supportive, some of them are even deriving entertainment out of watching me discover things about the game for the first time which is such a stark contrast to what I experienced with the Undertale community.
I think Iâm going to enjoy this playthrough!

Thereâs a thing speedrunners do every now and then called the 12 Hour Challenge where the goal is to stream yourself learning a route for a speedrun category you have never done before and then aiming to complete a run during that time as well.
For my challenge I decided to try SM64 70 Star. Iâm well-versed in 16-Star but this category is essentially 5 times as long!
I spent the first 6-hours trying to come up with a dancepad-safe route and then spent the next 6 trying to get a decent time, this is the result!
Oh yeah, I also did QWOP with a friend!

Game is good! It controls well, feels natural, is very responsive and enjoyable. If youâre a Banjo fan you should have no problem with this game, they are very different but also have many similarities that make it feel familiar yet fresh.
