it was never about hassan, or baba, or sohrab. he was selfish from the beginning. he let Hassan take the blame for everything. He remained selfish. Trying to force his father into chemo, just to keep him around. Adopting Sohrab, bringing him to America. It was never about them.

It was always about him. He was selfish from the beginning, and by the end, he didn’t change. He’s just constantly stuck in this meaningless cycle of trying to make it up to Hassan, and trying to live up to his Baba’s legacy.

Jacob - Basic blue

Noor - gold or bronze because she's extra

Emma - Basic blue but she'd be pretentious about it, so she'd say baby blue or cornflower

Hugh - light pink, soley for Fiona's dog roses

Fiona - any muted colors like mustard yellow or moss green

Horace - any shade of yellow EXCEPT high lighter yellow, which can die in a fire for all he cares

Enoch - would say something edgy like "red for blood" or "black like my soul" but he's truly a sucker for baker-miller pink as he yearns for the psych ward

Olive - insists she can't pick one single color so she always says lilac and lime green

Claire - any pink but definitely likes pastels

Miss Peregrine - unexpectedly loves orange but she owns no orange clothing or orange decor so you would never guess that

Millard - plum purple

Olive is immune to feeling dizziness or seasickness-esque stuff. As a downside, she also has trouble sensing direction or balance.

It was mentioned that "Hugh's bees didn't sting him if he didn't want them to" so I assumed he can resort to SH if he gets really stressed or something really bad happens and he uses wasps for it.

Horace hates spiritism, divination practices, just all the similar esoteric stuff with all his heart. This is a past trauma thing for him. He also hates mental hospitals for the same reason.

When Millard feels like he misses visibility, he sometimes spray paints parts of his body just to remember how at least a shilouette of him looks like. As a kid he once covered half his face in radium paint, but miss Peregrine saw him doing it early enough to make him wash everything off. Back in the day she had no idea the paint was THIS dangerous, but she definitely didn't approve of him smearing his skin with stuff not intended to be smeared on skin.

“don’t immortalize that! you’re such a pest,” emma yells as millard runs away from her, his bare feet padding up the stairs.

it perfectly captured her mouth wide open, chewing broccoli.

“millard, do you realize how much money you’re wasting taking photos of the stray cat? film is expensive,” abe complains as millard shows off his photo album.

there wasn’t a single roll of film for millard to swipe in the loop, and he’d annoyed abe so thoroughly and relentlessly that he forked over his own meager military wages just to shut him up.

“i’m not getting you any more after this,” he warns.

For me, Mil was always such a mature guy. So here's Millard for you.
