sometimes i’m so lazy that i don’t even write my scripts, i just make the entire thing up in my head and hope that sticks with me when i try to shift

i know a lot of us have been infected by the brain rot of early shifttok or shiftblr, and the virality of shifting made a lot of dumbass rules that aren't even really rules into our minds.

something i've been thinking about recently is ... the absolute POWER of making your own shifting method. like, completely yours.

because i mean, think about it! no one does something the same exact way. when i wake up in the morning, i get ready in the way that makes sense for me. i don't get changed until i've brushed my teeth, washed my face, brushed my hair, etc. but my roommate gets dressed before washing her face, brushing her hair, or brushing her teeth ! and neither of us are wrong, and both of us are getting ready for the day. we're getting to the same place, just in different ways.

or, think about it in another way ! depending on if you're driving a truck, car, scooter, bike, or roller skates, you're gonna take different ways to get to your destination. you're not gonna go out into the middle of the road with a scooter, you're not gonna drive in the middle of a park with a big ass van.

you can do things in any way you want, with whatever tools you want. no one is wrong for doing things differently, because they're just different people :)

so, thinking about it in this way, why would you treat shifting any different? methods, subliminals, affirmations, ALL of these are other people's ways to get where they wanna go. sure, following someone else COULD work. not saying it won't. but it would be way easier to go the way that's easiest for you.

don't think you have to shift in the same way someone else does. in fact, don't even follow the steps that other people say worked for them. not every road map is the one for you!

it's like, so much fun too. it's like customizing your script, but even deeper, and even more specific. a method that works for you, because you know yourself, because you know what makes YOU happy. no compromises, nothing that's not 100% your choice. it even feels powerful, making your own method. like you're carving the terrain of your journey, making it even MORE your own choice and power.

try making a shifting method !! name it after yourself !! your dog !! only do things you wanna do !! anything can be a part of your method !! GO CRAZY !!!!
